Hi everybody!


I’m Allison and this is my first pre-trip report!

This trip will be a celebration of many things combined into one!

But before we get into that, let me introduce you to the cast!

I will be 16 at the time of the trip! I am a Disney addict and obsessive planner. I have been to Disney 9 times. When I am not obsessing over Disney, I’m either playing field hockey or trying to find new science experiments to do.

She will never let me say her age. She is also a Disney addict, but not as obsessive as a planner. She has been to Disney approx. 13 times. She is a teacher and absolutely loves it (as far as I can tell).

Hotel: She’ll probably change it but, WL or Contemporary.

I said we will be celebrating many things on the trip including: My 16th birthday (although it is in September), finally paying off DVC completely, Christmas, our first girls only trip (unless my brother decides to come), and one year since my knee surgery.

We will be in Disney for 10 days (if it doesn’t change) from November 1st to November 10th

Hi everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and ate way too much turkey!

In the matter of a couple days, this trip has taken a bit of a turn, because my mom decided she wanted to start helping. To say we clashed on plans may be a tad bit of an understatement.

My mom is VERY big on relaxed trip, that also has some surprises in it. I on the other hand, like a more scheduled trip, with no surprises.

So, we are now trying to chose between dates and I am trying to convince her to not change the hotel.

We will hopefully be staying at BLT. Its by far one of my absolute favorite DVC hotels, due to the amazing view of MK. I also like the proximity to MK, and of course how close it is to the monorail.

For dining, we actually did agree on everything except for one or two meals so here is our dining plans (without the dates):

Day 1 (Fly in):

We’ll have a late flight in, so probably something quick at Contempo Café

Day 2 (HS/the unmentionable park ):

It will be our first time going to Trattoria al Forno, Garden grill (for breakfast), turf club, Hoop-Dee-Doo, Homecomin' and Via Napoli!
I am SO excited to try so many new places, and so is my mom!

In semi-Disney related news the holidays are finally coming, which means getting presents for my mom, which means new ears! A few have already come in and I am super excited to give them to her! I will probably be posting pictures of them after Christmas to show you guys what they look like!

I hope you all had a very merry Christmas!

Within a matter of a month this trip has taken a few more drastic turns.

My school district has released the preliminary school schedule for next year, and just with our luck, the days in November we always have for Jersey Week have been taken out. This combined with the school's new policy of no excused absences (they all count the same now), has made a case for my mom to change the dates. Since I would miss just as much school as I would in November, we have decided to go to Disney closer to Christmas!!

Although we aren't too sure the exact dates we are planning on going the week before Christmas. We will be flying back in time that we will be home for Christmas Eve, since my brother and my dad are not going with us.

In other news, we have purchased the tickets. We got 7 day park hopper tickets! This will be one of our longest trips.

We did not get memory maker yet, because we aren't sure if we want it. We used it on our September trip last year and we felt that it was not really worth it. But, we do love to take a lot of PhotoPass pictures so it may be worth it since this trip is long.

For Christmas my mom got ears!

These Ears are for the Christmas party! They are super cute! There's also Woody and Buzz on the back but I don't have a picture of that.

These Monorail ears are for our Monorail themed day! Yes, we are doing themed days and I am actually super excited for them (I'll get more into that later).

Last, but not least are these Mrs. Potts ears. These are absolutely adorable and sparkly.

For our trip we are doing themed days. Me and my mom will have coordinating outfits! Here's a break down of the themes:

Day Three: Beauty and the Beast

Day Four: With my Favorite Person

I love that you are doing themed matching outfits! I want to do that with my daughter on our next trip as well. My daughter will be 5 so she probably won't even notice.

Time for another update!

My midterms week has finally concluded, which means all my free time will once again be spent planning for Disney!

We booked our hotel about 2 weeks ago! We booked an AKL 1 Bdr Savannah view!

Now you may be thinking, I thought you wanted to go to BLT. We own DVC at ALK, so we booked there to be safe, incase there is no availability once 9 months come.

We have changed the dates once again, but now, of course, they are official! We are going down for 7 days, the week before Disney.

We have cut out a few days from the original plan, due to school and my mom's work schedule.

I have gotten some new Disney clothes for our trip!

I got this shirt from Kohls, it is super cute and comfortable!

I purchased this shirt from Southern High Cotton Co on Etsy. (The hat is an old hat from Disney)

Me and my mom bought this shirt to match the ears she got for Christmas (I ordered another pair of them for myself) from Pixie Dust Tees on Etsy. I will post a picture of them with the ears when they come in.

Our weekends recently has been filled with trying to make Disney plans and watching lots of Disney youtube videos!
To say we miss Disney is an understatement. It will be a year since we were last home on March 1st.

Since my last update, there has been a little bit more shopping!

First up are these ears from VampCreations4U on Etsy! These are so cute, I'm in love! How cute is Stitch as an Elf??

Lastly, is these shirts! I mentioned them in the last update. These are so cute, and pair really well with the ears!

So now onto food...

You might be thinking, didn't you already post food? Well, that was the original plan, but we have decided that we want to try some more new foods this time!

Day 1: Travel
Dinner:Hotel Quick Service
We will have a late flight in, so it will probably be ice cream for me and a sandwich for my mom

Day 2: HS/MK
Breakfast Whispering Canyon
Lunch Backlot Express
Dinner Skipper Canteen
We love Whispering Canyon for breakfast, since it is a little calmer than dinner. I am super excited to try the Chicken and waffles for lunch at Backlot. As for Skipper Canteen, it is brand new to us!

Day 3: Epcot/AK/DS
Breakfast Boma
Dinner Homecomin'
Boma is a favorite of ours, and I can't wait to try the fried chicken at Homecomin'!

Day 4: AK/MK
Breakfast O'hana
Lunch Satu'li Canteen
Dinner Yak and Yeti
Once again, O'hana is a favorite of ours for breakfast, and so is Yak and Yeti. Satu'il is new to us, but the hamburger pods sound amazing!

Day 5: MK RD/Break Day
Breakfast Gaston's Tavern
Lunch Earl of Sandwich
Dinner Hoop-Dee-Doo
All these restaurants are new to us! Earl of Sandwich is my brother's favorite restaurant, but we've never actually made it to the one in DS He's going to be super mad, but he's the one that doesn't want to come.

Day 6:Epcot
Breakfast Garden Grill
Lunch Via Napoli
We have never been to Garden Grill for breakfast, and we have never been to Via Napoli! For "dinner" we are going to get desert around the world!

Day 7: MK
Breakfast Trail's End
Dinner Beaches and Cream
We have never been to Trail's End for breakfast, but love it for dinner. I am super excited for ice cream at Beaches and Cream, and dinner, but mostly just ice cream!

Day 8: MK/ Go Home
Breakfast The Wave
Lunch Liberty Tree Tavern
The Wave is our traditional last breakfast. We have also never tried Liberty Tree Tavern

This trip should be quite the dining adventure, especially since I am a pretty picky eater.

Long time, no post!

Our ADR day was in the midst of my finals, but now that they are over it summer!!

We have switched our hotel to a 1 BDR at Boulder Ridge!
We stayed there for my brother's birthday last March and feel in love! Also, there was no availability for BLT or GF so that added into play.

As I mentioned our ADR day passed!

Here is all the restaurant we are going to t (In alphabetical order):

Boma (Breakfast):
We went here last March and it was SOOOOO good!

Garden Grill (Breakfast):
We haven't been here for breakfast before. But, that sticky bun bake looks absolutely to die for!

Grand Floridian Café (Breakfast):
I feel like this in one of the most underrated restaurant in Disney! We did not know about it until about 2 years ago. The service is great, and is such a cute little restaurant!

Hollywood and Vine (Dinner):
I know that they have repeatedly bad reviews, but I can't pass up an opportunity to meet Santa Goofy!

Homecomin' (Dinner):
We have never been here. I cannot wait for some fried chicken and doughnuts!

Hoop-Dee-Doo (Dinner):
My mo did this years ago and loved it. I have never done it an am a bit apprehensive, because I hate being called on, but I am still very excited to see the show and for fried chicken!

The Plaza Restaurant (Dinner):
We are going here on our MVMCP night. We have gone here before and loved it, especially the strawberry chicken salad! And who can pass up the opportunity for Plaza ice cream?

The Wave (Breakfast):
Another hidden gem! Going to their breakfast buffet the day we leave has become a tradition, because it is so good! Their service is always really good, and they always have these really weird juices, that always seem to be great!

Trail's End (Dinner):
I always classify this as a hidden gem, but it has started to get a lot more hype in recent years. As you probably can already tell by the trend, I cannot wait for their fried chicken! (I might have a problem).

Tusker House (dinner):
We haven't been here for dinner for a while, but I am excited to go and see the changes they have made since then!

Whispering Canyon Café (Breakfast):
Although I am sad to see some of the antics go, I cannot wait to see what is to come from the changes. I dream of the bottomless milkshakes, they are sooooooo good!

IN semi-food related talk, we also signed up for the DVC painting with a view at Bay Lake tower! I am very excited for this, me and my mom have both done similar experiences at home, and it will be good to relax, and get a fun souvenir.

The only Disney-themed item we have bought in the last few months in the Figment Food and Wine ears.
