I gave my two weeks notice to the Devils yesterday and I received my approval from the board to teach at the high tech high school


Whew!!!

I am really going to miss the Devils

I will be teaching Advanced Placement Computer Science(C++) and Intro to Programming(Visual Basic)

Is the "high tech high school" a magnet school, or one that students have to apply to or be recommended to attend? What's their focus?

They receive 1200 applications a year and accept about 120 freshmen each year. Their focus can be one of several vocations, Computer Science being one of them

Congratulations, Antnee! Enjoy your new teaching position. I remember sitting in that ice rink in Totowa FREEZING to death during my high school days. It was the first I was ever in an ice rink and then realized it really is cold in there. LOL!
