I wasn't sure if I should post this as a new topic, but what the heck. There was some doubt as to whether or not I would be able to go to USF in October this year (long sad story that I might get into someday, just not yet). Well, not anymore, I have confirmed that we (DW, DS-19 and myself) are indeed going to Orlando from October 19th to the 28th :cool1: :cool1:

I took a chance that it would work out and booked flights back in March, then in June I changed my itinerary and got the flights out of Philly to MCO for a grand total of $356.40 for the 3 of us for the round trip. I have $180 of credit to use with Southwest by next June (oh darn, we'll have to go again before June 21st of next year ;) )

We are staying at a Timeshare exchange in Kissimmee for 7 days, then 3 days at the HRH.

We will be going to HHN17 on 10-21,24,25 and 26. We're getting the Frequent Fear Pass for all the nights except Friday the 26th, for that night we'll be getting EPs. It has been basically a bad year for me, and knowing that I can go to Universal in 84 days is a blessing to say the least!!!

Just thought I'd share the good news with everyone, and maybe I can meet some of you that are also going for HHN towards the end of the month!

I'm stoked to say the least :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

For years I was a workaholic, I think I went 17 years without a real vacation. My wife still went on vacation (Italy, the Bahamas, Georgia ect...) with my son, and her brother and his family, I would never even think to expect my wife not to go, just because I was a vacation Grinch! Then my wife said lets got to Universal and do one of those timeshare weeks (to get the cheap rate) so I begrudgingly agreed. That trip to USF about 5 years ago really woke me up! Now I can't wait to get to Orlando, we always plan for 2 times a year (between spring break and school letting out, then in October). I just got hooked, and now when I'm working my 3 jobs, I know I am saving for a great vacation (and to pay off my business debts :scared1: ). I am still a workaholic, I have a 40 hour a week day job, a recording studio (there's a link to it in my sig) and I run live sound for bands at a local club. So most weeks top out at 70 to 80 hours, give or take. But now I know that twice a year I'm going to get away, so I pretty much live for our vacations (to a point anyway)

So there ya have it, I am a reformed workaholic, thanks to my awesome wife (We celebrated our 21st anniversary on July 12th!) :thumbsup2

Can't wait to see you again. Stop by and say Hi.
Of course we will! We're going to be in Orlando for 10 days, and most of them at the parks, so I'm sure we'll catch you there :)
