IT'S OFFICIAL!!!****OCTOBER 2014****...ROLL CALL!! Join the party!

We're in for a (big!) family vacation! Oct 26th-Nov 5th for my husband and I, at CBR. I can't wait!:cheer2:

MDE says I can check-in online in 9 days, which I guess means 9 days until I can so FP+ selection. Question: We just purchased AP's, so we can now see dates 30 days out (think we are up to September 9 now). Once our 60 day window kicks in, I assume that will change and we will be able to select for our October dates? Also, once I hit the 60 day window for my trip, can I book ALL my FP that day, or so I do it on a rolling basis?

Yes, as long as you have an onsite reservation attached to you MDE account you should see the 60 day window open up at midnight (eastern time). You can book all of your FPP at once (60+) at that point up to 10 days (I think). In fact, if some of the most popular attractions are on your list you may want to go to a day later in your trip to increase your chances of getting it. I had to do this with Anna and Elsa. The third day of our trip is the definite MK day but I couldn't get AandE so I tried the last day and FPP was available. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much, it answers my question perfectly! Thankfully the Frozen girls are not on our list. The only concern I have is the Mine Train, since it appears to have low availability at the 30 days out that I can see as an AP holder. I'll definitely take your suggestion and try for later days for that one.

Who else is offsite? I am this trip:guilty: Between driving down to Fl, off site and having to book FP+/the 30 day FP+ I haven't been able to get into this trip much. I wasnt too lucky with my ADRs so we just booked a few and will do QS. We did decide to head to IOA and US ;) so the whole trip is different then our last few. I need to find my magic and excitement! I hope to love FP+ once we get there. I still have not purchased tickets or MNSSHP but I really need to get on it.

We were offsite in May and loved using FP+ in conjunction with that. Since you can schedule evening FP+ you can go back to your hotel and rest/nap (if you're those kind of people like we are) even having some additional travel time. You will find your magic!!! And keep looking at your ADR options, a lot of mine opened up later in the planning game! Good luck! I know you will have a wonderful time!

Thanks. I have looked, every day, multiple times per day for those couple of ADRS:badpc: .
I will make the best of it if not, eat a few meals off site, drive to Beach Club for breakfast ADR then over to MK (instead of eating at or Near MK before it opens.)
Would I be better off trying to get evening FP+? I assumed I would do late morning so I could be open to any same day FP that may be available for evening. We do love a break to swim and have lunch by the pool(but we are in a Condo so no great pool or restaurant there so we may just choose to stay in parks.)

I am getting close to my 60 day mark and I wanted to make sure I have everything right for FP+ selections.

I went into MDE to see how it works as this is my first trip with FP+ and when I go into the FP selection area and I pick the parties that are going to use FP+ and I pick the park (let's just say HS) and when I click on a date, it is switches the park back to MK. Am I doing something wrong or do I have to wait until my 60 day mark to get the other parks rather than just MK?

I'm guessing you have a party ticket linked to your account? And you can probably only see 30 days out on the calendar? This is why you can only select for MK currently. I had the same thing, and when my window opened at midnight last night, all 4 park were active (along with all my dates!). Good luck!

Well today is my 60 day mark! I have all my fastpasses done accept I could not get the Electric Light Parade. The fastpasses are gone already! That is crazy. Does this happen with ride fastpasses as well?

I thought FP for MSEP weren't released until later...?

Well then this is good news! I did not know that, I thought all the fastpasses were all released at the same time. I guess that is why it said there are none available. :cheer2:

Oh, I'm not sure about that -- it's just what I recall reading a fair bit on here. Never know when things change these days with Disney, or whether there just isn't any consistency about this. Guess we'll see... :)

Wishes and the parades do not *always* release at 60 days, but I think if it says "all fast passes have been distributed for the day" that means it's gone. If it's greyed out, it's just not available yet. Either way, keep checking!

Today is our 60 day, we were on at midnight and were able to get A & E and 7DMT!! Our kids will be so excited!

Interesting. It was not greyed out. It said they were all gone. I will keep checking. Otherwise we just sit on the curb early and hold a spot like regular folk I guess. ;)

We have to change are dates once again. The school system changed the truancy policy this year, so we can't take the kids out of school.

What are your dates? I was on @ Midnight and no Anna and elsa. I'll keep trying :)

October 14-20th

Immediately when our dates opened up we went to our last park day (which we also planned to a MK day) and booked A&E then we went on yo book the rest.

What are your dates?

I had trouble finding availability for out Oct 13-18 trip, but had success scheduling each member of my party separately, and we will just all go when the return windows overlap. Try that method!
