When does everyone start counting down? I won't...ahem...officially start until October of this year rolls around. I don't actually do anything special, just annoy my boyfriend (Micky, yep, Micky!) and now I can also annoy my sisters.

I haven't stayed before so Im definitely looking forward to it! We rarely use our rooms so we tend to go value or moderate. We will be using fresh DVC points for the next trip!

I try not to get too into planning until the year marker... But then it's on! We do loooooots of dining while we are there so that takes up lots of planning!

Can you update my info? We are moving up the trip a day so we will be in Disney October 18 - 23. Our neighbors who have a daughter two days older than my daughter, will be at Disney at the same time. We are coordinating the trips so the two girls can celebrate their birthdays together at Disney!

We also have booked a LM room at AOA.

My husband and I are planning our 1st Disney Trip ever. The week of October 21-28th. We will celebrate our 27th Wedding Anniversary while there (The 22nd). We did not get to do anything spectacular for our 25th so this will hopefully make up for that. We married in 1987 so this will be our 27th so keeping with 7 as a lucky number. We have not decided which resort as of yet. We really like POR but we may go with POP. As soon as we decide I will post. Excited to be there close to Halloween! That has always been my favorite holiday.

We've gone in October before and loved it. The Halloween decorations are cool. The weather was very hot the year we went. Last year we went at Thanksgiving and the Christmas decorations were awesome! The weather did get cool (sometimes cold) at night but you could swim during the day. Both DD are excited we are going in October and not at Thanksgiving again (which was plan #1). Plans so far:

Wilderness Lodge- though I might have to change this (don't want to) but both the car and truck need new tires.

16th - Hoop-Dee-Doo (if we get and early flight) otherwise Wolfgang Puck Express
17th - 1900 Park Fare - breakfast or dinner - can't decide which charaters I want to see more
18th - Sci-Fi Diner - dinner
19th - Tusker House - breakfast
20th - Epcot day- can't decide between Rose and Crown, Via Napoli, or Coral Reef
21st - Whispering Canyon Breakfast
22nd - Beaches and Cream

October 20-26 2014
Hubby, DD17, DS19, and me.
DD and boyfriend with my DGS9
DD and hubby with DGS 11
we'are planning on taking Grandma with us, but due to heath concerns thats a little up in the air right now.
Also a chance of 2 other families coming, but we won't know for sure till after the first of the year.
Right now a definate 10 with a possibility of a total of 19.

I forgot to say the resort! We're staying at Pop Century. I think my kids will get a kick out of seeing stuff they used to do/play with as kids that they've probably totally forgotten. I can show my grandkids stuff from even further back when I was a kid. We're taking the kids out of school for the week, so have to make it educational

I have been working on things to do in the Magic Kingdom this week and trying to sort and plan all the little things we want to do on that day. We are not getting the Park Hopper so going to visit one park per day and do as much as we can. We both have some health issues that will not allow us to ride some of the coasters or fast paced rides, looking forward to being a kid again and enjoying the kiddie coasters and some of those rides though
