It's official, I've seen it all

I'm sitting at a red light. It's a 4 lane highway so there's a car to my left.

I noticed something moving. I turn and see that the driver is juggling 3 balls. Okay. A bit odd, but I'm from NY and not much phases me.

The light changes, and he's a bit ahead of me in the left lane. Guess what? He's still juggling away. The speed limit is 55, and this guy is tossing balls in the air as he's driving.

And here I thought cell phones/eating/drinking/shaving/putting on makeup were distractions. Shows what I know.

Hey Dan, I rarely have anything that I think is CB worthy. This was too good not to mention. I still can't believe that this guy was juggling down the highway.

As far as the clipart, you know I'm completely computer illiterate. Not only do I not know how to create anything, I have no clue how to add it to my signature.

The other day I noticed that it was taking an awfully long time for one of my posts to be completed. I found the Mickey surprise from our own Mary Jo.

Let's ask her to explain what it is.

Yes, Mickey is holding a peg-leg. I'm neither a pirate, nor do I play one on TV. It's a joke that will follow me until the end of my days.

<font color=navy>It's almost as much a mystery to me as to the rest of you how that clipart got in Miss Regina's signature.

There are so many stories that have filtered down to us over the years as to the exact significance of the "leg" ... so many stories ... so MANY years!

They're kind of foggy in my mind right now, but one that stands out is that Regina is known to those who have met her to be a kind of mom (as young as she is), and tends to take care of everyone (I know this from experience). Well, I think ... I'm not sure ... but when a group gets together, she may have been heard gathering the flock, as it were, and calling out to everyone "Shake a Leg! We've got to hurry to get to ______ " (It could be anywhere).

Well, I heard that one time, Regina was so intent on getting everyone to the Mickey show that she rounded up Mickey Mouse himself, shouting, "Shake a Leg" and with the rest of the group, he was herded to his own show! Good thing, too, because he had been surrounded by fans, and Regina actually saved him so he could do his show for the whole crowd of guests.

He was so grateful to her. I'm sure this is his way to tell Miss Regina he remembers the favor she did him, and this is his tribute to her.



At least, that is the way I remember how this came about.
