It's official!!! Going in December

Yep, it will be our first time to the World in December
Arriving Dec.6th for 7 nights. We also bokked MVMCP for Dec.7th

So to all you experienced December Disney travellers, please tell me that we will wear our summer clothes and escape the cold weather for a week

Any comments and suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Last year I went to WDW from NOV 29 to DEC 12/07, and it was HOT!!!!!!- both DD & I had to go out and buy shorts and more short sleeve shirts.

Most daytime temps were in the mid 80*f only a few days in that 2 weeks were we wearing jeans & t-shirts and light windbreaker. The evening were usually alittle cooler (nice).

I was kind of weird to walk around the Studio's for the Osbourne lights and them blowing snow in and we have shorts on , Oh and BTW I'm the type that is always cold...so for anyone that's truely a hot blood canadian (like my DH) make sure you take some summer clothes.

Yes, bring your summer clothes!! We have lovely warm temps two years ago in the middle of December. We wore shorts and t-shirts during the day and on a couple of nights we have pants on with light jackets, but ended up carrying the jackets around. It was beautiful!!

Having said that this past January we had much cooler temps and I even wore a scarf and little gloves at night a few times!! So you just never know.

You will have a wondrful time though. The Christmas decorations are wonderful!

Those are helpful thanks! I looked up December 21, 1996 and SNAP it was hot! Have fun OP we are going in December too!

We went last Dec for the first two weeks. Shorts and T-shirts during the day and pants at night. There were only a couple of nights where it was cold to the point steam was coming off the quiet pool behind our room. Checked the computer those nights for the Canadian temps and they were in the single digits. Can't figure out the American temps .

I'd suggest that you bring a light sweater for the nighttimes.
