I do like the improvements as well...too bad about SWSA, but of the rides in current FL it is the one I would miss the least. Guess we better ride it one last time if it's still there in November.

I find it interesting where the mine car ride is located. It doesn't seem like there will be a lot of room there - which makes me feel like it might be Goofy's Barnstormer 2.0. Otherwise...yeah for Disney!

Thanks it is exciting because FLE 1.0 was just not enough with it being mostly M&G. Yea shame about SWSA but the new ride is supposed to be heavily themed so I really think about it as a 21 century version of SWSA!

I agree after reading the press release - a modernized version of SWSA - I think it's kind of cool! I agree some of the older stuff (the Sleeping Beauty coloring area) was pretty lame. Not that I don't mind them doing away with Pixie Hollow, but I am sort of surprised that there is no play area...oh well.

I can't complain too much. Overall, it looks like it'll be a nice area with some great visuals.

But I don't think they should put so much effort and space into M&Gs, and I'd still love to see a new thrill ride -- a real e-ticket attraction. MK could use one.

Only thing I would change us this.

Keep circcus land just the area near Dumbo!

Completely enclose the barnstormer and theme it like a darkened. Theme it to Mr. Toad, Call it Mr. Toads Wild Ride and build a facade of Toad hall!

Really wish they would quit it with the circus theme. I KNOW there are imagineers who have better ideas than that for kids. :sigh: Everything else looks pretty great though!

Hmmm, I don't hate the Circus theme but I was thinking it would be around Dumbo and Barnstormer only. It looks like all of TT is being made a Circus theme. I'm betting that this area is mostly just a bunch of shops which doesn't sound like much of an improvement. Think I'd rather have Pixie Land instead.
I like the idea of consolidating all the Meet-N-Greets instead of spreading them all over the place. I can live with them closing down SW to do this since they are replacing it with something better (long as it is higher capacity).
Not sure about the Belle attraction. At least it doesn't sound like another MnG.
IMO they still need to add another new ride as this just bring things back to par (the Seven Dwarves mine car is making me waiver on this point a little). They really need to pack in as much as they can per square foot. From the picture it looks like a lot of wasted space. DL still has more attractions and is a smaller park to boot.

Reading more in to the MyFoxOrlando report - I like how they completely ignore that they announced the expansion last year, and stripped out a number of things.

From their description, its sounds as if Gaston's is separate and distinct from Be Our Guest - wasn't speculation that it would be a "changeover" of the same space?

The artist renderings are still kinda vague - is that an "underground" entrance to the mine ride in the middle?

No Gaston's Tavern, as I understood it, was always a seperate site.
Not sure if it is the Mine ride entrance but it is a mine opening for either the ride or entrance. One of the other pictures gave a pretty good close up picture of the concept.

Edit: Actually if you look very carefully it looks like people are streaming in/out of the "Mine Entrance" so I'm betting that is indeed it. The concept art of the ride shows it over a bridge though. Maybe this is the exit and the entrance is nearer the cottage.
