with the disney club it is official ...the prices have gone up as of this morning....even though they did not "know" about it last night when i called to ask prices...

i specifically asked what the prices for park hoppers were ....and if they were going to go up as was quoted the board and was told they had not heard anything about it...

after speaking to a manager this morning they said the prices had gone up and that they did not know anything about it til this morning when they started their computers....and the prices had changed...

i find it hard to believe that a price increase like this would not have been posted to employees and agents so that they could have informed people who were calling in ....of the price increase so that a person could make a decision based upon that information....

they seem to lead "people" on with misinformation which they cannot rectify ....once the "prices" are in their computer...

a travel agent once told me ....that if walt disney himself appeared at the gate of disney world ....they would probably make him pay to get in too.....the price increase on the 4 day went from 179$ to 196$ for a DC member....17$ which is about a 10% increase....

amazing....

the mouse's halo becomes a bit less "glowing"

thanks tiger bear...

and their prices are even better than DisneyClub prices by a couple of dollars....

i will check them out...

have you ever done business with them.....or has anyone else...for that matter...

the prices seem good now that disney has increased theirs by almost 8%

It appears to be a industry wide price increase. The news last night said that both Busch Gardens and Sea World were now over $50 for a one day ticket. Now I like Sea World, but since I have never been able to spend a full day there before I run out of things to do this seems even steeper to me than Disney!

at leat sea world give canadians a break on admission....we were able to get 14 day tickets for 49$ CDN.....which is on for another month or so......prepaid voucher from travel agents ....or CAA

no it was the disney club 800 #

i phoned the local disney store and they said the prices are going up on January 14th....

the only problem with them is that they do not carry all "types" of admission media....

we decided on the 7 day park hopper plus....but they only have the 6 day park hopper plus...in the plus category...

also, with respect to www.floridatravelonline.com when i phoned their 800 # this morning ...was told there prices are going up too....but the old price was still on the web site....i submitted our order ....but if they try to change the price on us....i will fight it through the credit card company....since they are authorized only to charge the cost of two 7 day park hoppers at their old price.....i printed out the browser pages just in case...

we will see what happens....maybe i just got lucky and got in under the wire....

if they do not work out....i guess i can always still go to .....the disney store....

My friend and I bought her tickets online at FloridaTravelOnline yesterday, too. They had better not try to raise the prices after the sale - I don't think they can legally do that. Just as we cannot cancel the order without penalty, the same should apply to them. When we submitted our orders to them, we formed a contract. They agreed to sell at that price and we agreed to pay. If they try to change it, I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.

1) Ticket price increases are never announced in advance.
2) This might cause a rush to buy tickets, and the reason in ther first place for the increase is to get more revenue.
3) For any pre-purchsased tickets at a travel agancy (they must have them in-hand), you might still get the old price - otherwise the new price is in effect.
4) Prices go up, so we just have to adjust to it.

thanks tiger bear for posting the url of that site...

i just got my confirmation for the 7 day park hopper plus pass at that site....

but when i called to verify .....

they said the new prices will be in effect as of 2 pm today....

so if you are thinking about savings......get them soon...

otherwise the only other source will be the disney store until january 14

and tina ....yes i was thinking that too....it was a contract ......if they were not going to honour it ....i was ready to dispute the charge with the Credit Card company...

UPDATE!!!!!!!!

one final note ......pete is offering the tickets for current prices until midnight wednesday i think.....so u can still get them on line too without having to go to the disney store...

You might also check with your local AAA office - I remember the last time the prices increased at WDW, the AAA prices didn't increase until a couple of weeks later.

Might be worth a shot...
