We brought home our new 2 us 2010 Jayco 1007 Pup last night:cool1:. It figures, it had been sunshine and 70 all week and yesterday it rained. It least the dealer had it set up inside and we took about 2 hours going over everything and setting it up and taking it down. Even my DD11 can raise and lower it. Now hoping the weather is nice this weekend so we can take it out for the 1st time.

The fun part is that it came with 12 months free at 1000 Trails resorts and 2 other local resorts we have 3day/2night free camping this summer. We also have a lot of WA state parks and National Parks close by so we well be having lots of fun this summer trying them all.

Will try and post some pics later this week.

:woohoo:

Congratulations ! I hope you have years of fun in your pup.

Wow that's great Kevin. That's still a relatively new trailer!

I hope you use the heck out of it with the 1,000T offer and local SP's.

Nwdad, I noticed your travels map in your sig before. You've been all over! So what was all that accomplished with, if not a pop up? Trailer? Various?

We are pup shopping, by next spring I assume we'll have one. It's been wonderful to try out a rented one at the fort this week...am surprised how that has changed what we will be looking for, +-.

I notice that no one who gets a good model Jayco is unhappy with it...quite the contrary, so I assume you will be creating more good memories down the road!
Someday I'll love to be able to post the same thing! Good wishes!

Congrats and best of luck with your new "home away from home"

Thanks to everyone for the good wishes. I grew up camping every summer with my parents. We started tenting then moved upI to renting Pup's in the late 60's to a 18' Banner TT that in 1972 we took from MI to WDW for 2 weeks and when we came home my Dad put it and the TV in the front yard and sold them then they bought a 25' Class A, seems my sister and I fought all the way home.:confused3.

I grew up on the east coast and we went all up and down the coast and as far west as CO and the 4 corners. Then I got married and we moved to the Pacific Northwest. We have been down as far as DL in Ca and have been back and forth to MI and back. We have tented, used camping cabins, hotels, and a couple of cruises thrown in. That is how I got HI and Alaska.

Did I say that we love to travel. Now we are looking forward to continuing with our DD11.

Kevin.
