Its Now $15 to park at Disney

We went may 20th and stayed offsite. The parking stub says $13 and some odd cent and with tax it was $14. So only went up a dollar.

A dollar isn't much really in the grand scheme of things. :confused3 So a week will now cost 7 additional bucks if you are staying off site for 7 nights. You can spend that on two mickey bars in the parks. Everything is going up at Disney....and every where else. It just the way it is.

Kind of makes me glad I did decided to go with the bus instead of a rental car.
Maybe it's "only" $15 to some, but with 5 days, for me that is at least the money for 5 booths at the Food & Wine Festival's worth of tasting experiences.

The "only" part it the dollar increase - I already had the $14 budgeted. We are staying offsite, and even with parking for 6 days, our $185 week at a friend's time share is a huge savings.

This is how we felt about our recent offsite stay. We are a family of six, so the cost to pay for parking everyday was a nonissue for us because the total cost for our 3 bedroom Windsor Hills condo, minivan rental, gas, and parking was still hundreds of dollars less than what it would have cost us just to get two standard rooms at Pop Century - even with a room discount. Even though we ate a few counterservice lunches in the parks and had ADRs at Chef Mickey's, Rainforest Cafe, and 'Ohana, I think we also saved on the cost of eating/meals during our trip because of having a full kitchen to prepare some of our meals and being able to drive to the grocery store and a couple offsite restaurants.
