Morning.

I am looking forward to today though ever conscious now that there is not much time left for this years holiday.

We are going to Magic Kingdom today, the weather is looking hot and sunny. There are a few tropical storms around America now, none currently reaching hurricane status yet. Nice if one closed the airports on Wednesday.

Anyway off to get some breakfast now. Cya.

Have a lovely day+enjoy your brekkie. The sun is shining brightly here today.x.

Hope you had a good day......it's been lovely and sunny here today. :thumbsup2

I am pleased you are enjoying my reports. I am also pleased to know the weather has improved. It would be nice to come back to a British summer. Last year we landed at Manchester to torrential rain and once in February landed with a covering of snow. Just want some nice warm weather when we return.

This is what we did today.

We had a lovely day at Magic Kingdom today, it was lovely, sunny, hot and humid, quite the best way to see Disneys showpiece park. I always love seeing the castle come into view over the lake. We have now visited each park at least twice.

We arrived at the park slightly later than usual. It always takes a while to get from your car, across the lake to the main entrance. Once in we hit Splash Mountain, grabbing fast passes and riding it straight away. This is my favourite ride at this park, I love all the happy tunes, its satisfactual.

Big Thunder Railroad followed and Pirates of the Caribbean, spying Captain Jack Sparrow in several places. We crossed the park to Tomorrowland to pick up fast passes for Space Mountain, an indoor, dark rollercoaster.

DS17 was feeling a bit hungry so we picked up a hot dog for him. Stitch wasnt working. this is a ride where you go into a room and shoulder bars touch your shoulders. Stitch appears in the middle of the room and then appears to jump around the room, tickling your hair and burping in your ear. It is quite funny thought alot of people prefer the original Alien ride here.

On the way back to Frontierland we took a whirl around The Haunted Mansion. I sat on with DS17 and he kept grabbing my neck, which made me scream in the darkness. He thought this was funny. This ride is really good with transparent dancing ghosts, I can never figure out how they do it.

We used up our fast passes for Splash Mountain. The lines were really long and quite a bit of it was outside. The lines were 50 then 60 minutes long, and again I could not understand why people were lining up for that length of time instead of fast passing it.

It was then time to use our fast passes for Space Mountain. we were the next to go on the ride when the ride crashed down for a safety issue and we had to wait a while whilst they checked it out. I had been kindly chosen to sit right in the front of the car which doesnt have any front to it. It doesnt bother me as you get an inkling of where the rollercoaster is going, rather than sitting in the back and being knocked from side to side.

We picked up some lovely smoothies in this area and left the park via the ferry. There was a happy person waving at all the boats and people.

We went back to the hotel, had a little rest whilst they watched a horrible programme about nasty real life ghosts. We then had a really relaxing time in the pool listening to the rock music. It was nice just sitting in the water talking and having a break from the heat.

DS19 was still after some more clothes and DS16 wanted a Abercrombie cap and DH wanted anything that was a bargain. I am hoping the cases are big enough when we do some dreaded packing tomorrow. So I was taken back to the Mall of the Millennia for the last time this holidays, yes. I had a wander round till I couldnt look anywhere else. The mall isnt that big. but IS on two floors, with huge department stores on three ends. They bought some more clothes and then I suggested having tea in the mall to save some time. All we had eaten was a smoothie type yoghurt with fruit for breakfast then a smoothie for lunch so by 7 pm I was very hungry. We usually eat more than this in a day, it was just how the day had worked out. Me and DS17 had a burrito which was nice, DH and DS19 had some Cajun dish. It was a food concourse with lots of different outlets and foods to buy and take to a table. We were all full after the meal.

We headed back to Universal, the kids tried on their clothes and we headed into Universal. We managed to get ET, The Simpson, Men in Black and Jaws done before the fireworks started. We decided to leave the park before the end of the fireworks to say getting caught in the crowd. The fireworks look good from our walk to the hotel with the hotel s emblem of a guitar being highlighted by them.

And I think that is all for today, I am off for a sleep now. Cya.

Another great day...it's such a shame that your holiday is coming to an end. :sad2:

A belated Happy 23rd Anniversary.

another great day :goodvibes

Sounds great but don't you just hate it when you get to the last few days and you know it is all gonna end soon.

Just out if interest, did you get any problems taking your laptop through US security with the new laws they have brought into effect?

Thanks for the anniversary wishes. Yes I hate knowing the holiday is coming to an end but I always think that, that is a sign of having a good holiday (as if I didnt know).

I have only brought the laptop into the country, it just went through in my bag (only a very small one) through Manchester security. I think all I have to do is lift it out of my handbag on the return journey. I will let you know in a couple of days if there are any problems.

Great day :thumbsup2 . We loved the Alien ride, although we have'nt tried the Stitch ride yet-some people say it is'nt all that great. The amount of rides i wish that they never had gotten rid of-Alien,Kongfrontation,the old Lion King stage show to name a few.x.

Another great day, I've really enjoyed reading your 'live' reports:thumbsup2

Lovely day. I didn't like the old Alien ride because of those shoulder restraints, so I have never managed to venture on to the new Stitch version!
