Hello all! Arrived home last night from our trip. It was a lovely two weeks and now there's lots to finish up before school officially starts.

BUT I was sprinkled with a little on Sunday. My one set of in-laws did not have a flight until the evening and was looking for a suggestion of something to do. I suggested going to AKL to see the animals and eat at Mara. My SIL decided that we should all head over for an early lunch before splitting up. So got to have butternut squash soup and ZDs! I took pics but probably won't have them downloaded until Friday.

Also, with luck, I may get to go back in November! If my sister goes to a conference in the beginning of the month, I could fly down and join her when my school is closed!

Linda I am so glad you had a good trip How great that you were able to show your in-laws around AKL and have lunch. You had two of my favorite things the soup and dessert. Yummers
So does your family want to stay at AKL now?

Just saying I have a million things going on and have been reading up. Just wish I had time to comment for all of you!

The good news is today we upgraded our internet to Fios wireless, so hopefully pages will load quicker and I can reply faster and keep up!

Brandi your whole trip looked pretty great. You where able to spend time with David, good food, good company, pretty country and got paid too. The only way it could have been better is if you were paid to visit Disney.

Well, I have company coming over for drinks and munchies tonight. I plan on serving my crab stuffed mushrooms, homemade hummus, shrimp cocktails, Crudité, turkey and cheese roll-ups and a fresh fruit salad. Got to run and get busy. Have to vacumn, do laundry and bath the dogs. Wow, it is noon here already.

Thanks Ann! All the events of the last month really took it out of me. I don't see things slowing down much, but I hope there will be much less of an emotional component. NOW if we have to cancel yet another WDW trip, THAT will be heartbreaking!

And lady, with a menu like that you need to come over to the What's for Dinner thread! There's a lot of really nice ladies on there who share menus and recipes. Brandi and PIO share lots of great food porn and even Kim has been known to share some, but don't tell her DH! I want that crab stuffed mushrooms recipe!

It's probably cheaper to fly out of Boston too. I quoted Jet Blue for April and for the 5 of us it would be $4300

Hoping SouthWest will be cheaper as we live 5 minutes from TF Green
