Very cool, and I hope it works out great for you... I made one this past weekend that I call taco pizza... Pizza crust, ground beef with taco seasoning, cheese, peppers, and onions, bake and then top with lettuce, tomato, and sour cream....

That pizza looks amazing. I am almost hungry again just looking at it even though I had dinner not so long ago.

Thanks, it HAS been quite a year, let's hope it gets better and goes downhill for the rest of it!

Tomorrow the sad chapter will probably be over. Today when the doctor visited her, she was paralyzed from the neck down. The neuro surgeon who saw her today and reviewed the CT scans, could not even explain how she woke up from hospice last week. We just have to believe that this was a gift for her to be able to see her daughter and step-son one last time.

We paid for the daugher to fly in from San Antonio because she is (I hate to say this) such a deadbeat, undeserving, freeloading person, but we knew that Arline would want to see her one last time, and that was the only way it would happen. The son lives in Tulare, so not too far. The daughter arrived Tuesday, and some time between then and Wednesday night evidently they made peace with each other. It was then that she caught pnemonia, suffered a stroke and infections set into many of her organs. Yesterday they put her on a ventilator and I already mentioned today's demise. So as not to prolong the suffering, tomorrow they will sedate her and remove the breathing tube. At that point there will be no way she can breathe on her own and this rollercoaster will all be behind us.

I am so sorry to hear you news, Alison. You and Fran gave her the precious gift of your friendship (priceless) and I know the love you gave her meant the world to her. Your flying the daughter to her bedside was what Arline needed in order to be at peace. She is in our prayers today, as are you, Fran, and her loved ones.

In the midst of all you are going through, Alison... thank you so much. I am so sorry that your lives are so sad right now.

One tip, if you want the Domes to taste like the ones in Boma, let them get to room temperature before eating. I have found that, served chilled, the Domes have a totally different consistency - and I prefer that melt-in-your-mouth taste of non-chilled Domes!
