OK, so my bf thinks I am crazy for already getting excited about our December trip (especially since I just came back from a 12/13-12/20 trip). And I just got clearance from my boss to take vacation at that time, so I'm feeling mighty good!
But who else is with me??? Anyone anxiously awaiting the sale of MVMCP tickets?
When are you going? Where are you staying? And what holiday activities are you planning on taking in?

Let's keep each other abreast and keep this thread going as developments are made from Disney. And maybe we can all get some pointers. We only have 11 months to plan people! :chat:

Here is the deal for myself, my bf, and his parents:
December 5-11, 2004
Two rooms at Poly or WL, depending on AP discounts (first plunge from into a delux from moderates!)
MVMCP December 5, Candelight Processional package (probably Le Cellier) December 10.

I'm sooo happy the Osborne lights will be back too. Missed them this year :(

UPDATE: Even more reason to get excited ... I am now getting MARRIED in WDW Dec. 6 ... woo hooo!

I'm planning for Dec 2004!! YEAH!!!! Our family (me, DH, DD-11 & DS-7) will be going along with my SIL, BIL, & 2 neices. We are planning on staying at Port Orleans Riverside from Dec 11-19th. I wish I knew when MVMCP was going to be scheduled so that I could start some more planning! I too am anxious to see the Osbourne Lights!

Planning our December trip too! We are driving our 29 hours with our new Ford F-350 crew cab, and our new 2003 TT. We will be staying at FW campground Dec 5-16. We are pretty excited, this is our 2nd trip but first one onsite.
We are planning on MVMCP, hope it is good. Cant wait till tickets go on sale so we can decide what night to go. Our kids (5 &10) are very excited. We've had our reservations since last July, and that is when we started our countdown!! :teeth:

Our (me, DH, DD6) first trip will be 12/12-18 at PC. MVMCP, but haven't decided which day. Are the Osbourne lights for sure? I read somewhere that they might not be back til 2005. Thinking CP will be too much for DD6.

According to allears.net, the Osborne lights "should" return in 2004. Let's just keep our fingers crossed!

Add us to the list
Me, DH, DD, DS and Mom 12/18-12/2? haven't decided on leaving for home date yet. We're going too! 11-28 thru 12-4!

As of right now we're staying at POR, but if a code comes out for that time period, we might change our reservation to WL.

I've never been down there during the holidays, so I can't wait to see what's in store for me! I'm sure we'll be spending a lot of time at EPCOT, since that's my favorite park and there'll be so much more to see there w/ the Holidays around the World and the tree lighting ceremony going on. I also want to see Osborne Lights..when we went in 2002 they were getting them ready..in September..if it takes them that long to get set up, it must definitely be a "spectacle"! We'll also be going to MVMCP.

what's your favorite thing about WDW during the holidays?

Hey, that's my birthday and I'd love to be there then!!!

T&B

We will also be going 11/28 thru 12/05.I can't wait till December We will be staying at loyaltyusa We rented a house with a pool w/ heating. So hopefully we will be able to swim late afternoon. my dh wants to know why I am constantly on the puter researching things and he thinks the pal Mickey we brought home is sending sublimal messages to make me a obsessed with disneyworld. WHY b/c it's DISNEY!! I can't stay off this site at the off chance I might miss a really good tip. Keep em coming. Did I mention that I can't wait till December!!

Angey 77 -

I WISH I were going in December - but that's another story.

I know I am totally off topic here - but I may not get a chance to say this for another 48 years -

HOW 'BOUT THOSE NATIONAL CHAMPION LSU TIGERS!!!!!

It's not too early to plan at all.

I was only back from my early December solo trip for 3 weeks before I started planning for early
12 / 04. I've got the first week of December. So far, I will probably spend my first 3 nights at The Dolphin, but it's not booked yet.
Then I will switch to 3 nights at a one bedroom Boardwalk villa. I got that booked.

I am SO looking forward to another MVMCP. And I sure do hope for the Osborne lights this year.

This will be another solo trip.

Count us in....

Nov 29-Dec 6th...

Myself, DH, DS and Fiance, possible DS, DDIL and 3 grandkids..Time will tell on who else is going with us.

This will be our fourth holiday trip to WDW..can't wait, haven't seen the decorations since 2000

Hope to see Osborne lights, that is why we held off going in Dec 2003..not sure on MVMCP yet, it depends.

See ya all there...:)

I am completely obsessed with planning too!! We may end up missing MVMCP as our dates are Dec 19-26 but we're definitely planning CP package at LeCellier for Christmas eve. We are booked at the Poly - yippee!! It's been my dream to visit at Christmas forever so I'm very psyched. It'll be me, dh, and our three wonderful sons who all tolerate but don't really share my Disney obsession. I've read about the crowds but I don't care since I'll be at DISNEY! Christmas morning bkft at Chef Mickey's is unanimous with the boys. Somehow we have to get Universal in this trip as well since the boys are finally old enough now to ride most of the thrill rides and they love that stuff.

I'll be there too with my bf. Nov 26- Dec 4. I still need to make my reservation, I can't decide to get a room with savanah view or a pool view at th akl. I have never been while the x-mas decorations are up and I am really excited. Looking foward to MVMCP, osbourne lights (hopefully), and candle processional. Is it Thanksgiving Yet????!!!!!!!!

YES! I have my reservations made for December 04! 10 magical nights, baby! I am going home for the first time to stay at Saratoga Springs and I am SO excited! I am looking forward to eating at new places (Chef Mickeys for one), seeing things I missed before (LOTS of shows), going to the Adventurers Club, and getting a Dole Whip (I missed this last time)! I am hoping that my father will be able to join me and I plan to show him a good time in WDW!

Woo-Hoo! Disney in December here I come!

D4D

Hey, is this countdown stuck?

We're heading down there for our first ever trip. Gonna be at All Star Movies (preferred location) drom Dec 10th to the 23rd. So far Um planning MVMCP and probably resort browse at all the christmas decorations and shop for a mickey santa ears hat. Dunno what else related to Christmas but we plan on having a lot of fun

:bounce: :Pinkbounc

We'll be there! Me,DH,DD and DS gave my Grandparents a Christmas 2003 gift of a 10 day trip to Disney World with us for Dec.4-Dec.13 2004!
It has been my Grandmothers dream to one day stay at the Wilderness Lodge, so that's where we'll be.

We're planning on MVMCP the 5th and 12th, Le Cellier for the Candlelight Processional Package, Sleigh Rides at the WL, Illuminations Cruise...the works!!

Me, me, me!!! Also DH and mom. Mom's first trip to WDW during the holidays. Angey77, we'll be there same time as you, Dec 5-11 at BCV in a one-bedroom, can't wait. I really love VWL during the holidays, but with mom coming, and alot of holiday activities at Epcot, thought the BCV would be more convenient. I'll be soooo disappointed if the Osborne Lights are not back. DH and I loved them when we were there December 2002, and mom's never seen them. I really want her to experience them. Will definitely do the Candelight Processional dinner package. Ate at Le Cellier last time, was terrific. Word of warning though, get in line early, even if you do the dinner package. We thought we had plenty of time, and the line was so long we had to sit in the uncovered section, and it poured!!! Definitely not fun and very disappointing. Make sure you take the time to visit the Grand Floridian to check out the huge gingerbread house in the lobby, and sit and listen to the orchestra. It was wonderful.:D

us too! Right now my parents have 2 different sets of ressies at Ft. Wilderness. We have 12/26 to 1/2 b/c we know everyone will have that week off from work. Our APs expire 12/29 so between that, MVMCP and less crowds (!!!) we're hoping to go earlier in December but at least we know we have something. Even a super crowded day at Disney is better than a day at home! :)

We hope to be there from December 4-12 or 14. We are trying to get DH's family to go as well (15 people in all), but DH said that if they can't go, we'll go anyhow. It'll be our first trip to WDW for the holidays.
