I'm going to start in the middle of my story because I'm looking for help in making a decision!

I did an family trip in Septmeber with me, DH, DS 3, DD 14 months, Mom, MIL & FIL, Bro & SIL, Aunt & Uncle. AS you can imagine, it wasn't a see & do EVERYTHING kind of trip.

SO, I am going back to the WORLD in Feb. for my bday. It will be me, Mom, & my best friend who have never been to WDW, only DL (grew up in LA).

The first thing I need help deciding is what "What Will You Celebrate" BIRTHDAY GIFT to take?
The 1 day park ticket, the Birthday Fastpass or the Birthday Fun Card?

It may help you to know a bit of my itinerary and what my priorities are.
The trip is 2/1-2/4. Both my Mom & I have 1 day on an old park hopper ticket. We will buy the other days we need, my BF will buy 4 days.

SUN 2/1 (my bday) Arrive at ORD at 10:35am. Take ME to BWV (renting points for a 1 bdrm). Check in - head to MK. *To me, MK IS WDW! So that was my thinking for picking that as a first day.* MK has Evening EMHs so we can see & do everything there in the 1 day. Have 6:10 ADR at The Wave then back to MK for Wishes.

Mon 2/2 Epcot - Not neccessarily planning to be there for rope drop due the late night at MK. (Not sure if it's better to walk thru Intl Gateway to the front or bus to front?) Hit 3-4 attractions in AM then move on to Eat My Way Around the World! The 3 of us will share DDP CS and snack credits to get a taste at most countries. 7pm ADR at Le Chefs. Watch Illuminations.

Tues 2/3 AK - I only got to spend 1 hr here in Spet. and that was the first time I've ever been. I am really looking forward to exploring and soaking up the atmosphere. 5:50 ADR at Boma

Wed 2/4 - HS Arrive 20 mins prior to rope drop. Head directly to TSM (my new favorite ride). Ride as many times as possible, have Mom get FP's for me cuz she'll only want to do it once.
Depart park at 12:45 to return to BWV to catch ME at 1:45 for 4:45 flight.
*I really wish I could see Fantasmic (Have never seen it) but it's only on Mon night, I think we'll need a Mon sleep in after EMH at MK and riding TSM wins over Fantasmic.*

So here are the big questions:
1. Which bday gift do I choose?
2. How do my overall schedule look? Am I missing anything?

first go with the fun card you can use it for gifts / surviners just make shore you use all of it before you leve the park on that day
second have fun and have a happy birthday and i have to say spetro magic and wishes is beter than fantasmic

I'm glad to hear that you think the MK parade/fireworks is still top notch! It makes me feel better!

So here are my thought about the Disney Birthday gifts -
1. Ticket - I will need 4 days park tickets (planning on base tix only). I have 1 old park hopper ticket. I can
A. get the Bday tix and use the old tix and only buy 2 days
B. Just buy 4 days (it's not cost effective to buy 3 and use the old tix)
Now this seems to be a perfect trip to use that old ticket on versus a future trip with the entire family when we'll all buy 7 days.

2. Bday Fastpass - A very cool idea and it appeals to me. I received Dream fastpasses at HS and honestly that was the ONLY way I got to all the major rides. However, I don;t think it's as "valuable" for me (adults only) at MK. I would not use it on Fastasyland rides so that leaves me The Mountains (Splash is debatable depending on weather), Buzz & Jungle Cruise.

3. $75 Fun Card - I had not planned on doing any shopping this day. It's my arrival & my bday, I thought I'd just soak in MK. I would also be very tempted to just spend it on my 2 children who are at home. I put some thought into what on earth I would buy for myself....
I want to start pin-trading this trip. So I will buy a lanyard set and a few pins. I'm not sure that I'd buy $75 dollars worth but that would be a good start.

So again... any additional input is appreciated!

Bumping. I would love some more opinions on the bday gift AND would love opinions on my itinerary.
