It's my DVC-iversary!!

One year ago today on WDW's birthday, I called our guide to put in our order of points for BLT! I can't believe it's been a year since then!!!! I also can't believe I've been to WDW 3 times and DLP 1 time since then and still have 39 days and a stay at SSR before we check into our NEW DVC HOME!!

Does anyone else celebrate a DVC date like this? (I know I can't be the only dorky one! )

Congrats!!!

We will celebrate our 2nd DVC-iversary in Jan - we celebrate our closing date!!! Since buying into DVC we have gone 3 times with the 4th coming up....and this from someone whose 1st trip to WDW (or any place Disney) was ONLY 3 yrs ago (Dec 06)!!!!!!!

Does anyone else celebrate a DVC date like this? (I know I can't be the only dorky one! )

Although I don't celebrate, I don't think you're at all dorky. When I read this, my first thought is "How terrible of me-I don't even know the dates of any of our contracts." I do remember receiving the package from DVC for our first contract-they delivered it to me in my classroom (I was a teacher then) and it was such a great feeling. But I don't remember the date! The only date I remember, was the one last year, because it was the day before Christmas Eve when I faxed the contract to the resaler. However, I think it's a great idea to celebrate the date you first became a DVC member.

We don't celebrate our date of joining, we do celebrate our first stay! December 19, 2003...it's a cinch to remember, our first DGS was born when we were in MVMCP!
