We just returned from a fabulous week at BWV. We had two ressies: May 3 - 7 studio standard view. May 7 - 10 studio preferred view. First room was 1118. Fabulous. Wait you say, that doesn't sound like a standard view studio??? It was a 1 br preferred with a walk-out to the quiet pool. We got upgraded. It was a fabulous room and I no longer think that the boardwalk rooms are the best. I'll take a walkout to the quiet pool any day over a boardwalk view. Our second room was 4029. A boardwalk view which we requested. Also a very nice room but not as nice as the one bedroom. It was very very hot. 97 on Friday - we spent a lot of time in our fabulous rooms.

Glad that you had a good time. Curious as to how your upgrade came about - did BW fail to fulfill a ressie request?

I have a feeling that with the rennovations at BW, it is probably more of a juggling act for the front desk staff to get everyone in the right rooms. Maybe you just got lucky!

You are probably right Carol. They didn't tell us why we got upgraded and as curious as I was I wasn't going to ask too many questions. We just enjoyed the room and felt spoiled.
