A WDW vacations is not financially feasible this year (wishful thinking keeps me lurking around this board), so my DH and I went to a nearby water park, Schlitterbahn, for a day of fun. Granted, this park has been rated at the top of the list for waterparks in the nation. But, the food was atrocious! I never thought I'd actually be longing for WDW counter-service. We paid WDW prices and got the worst burger and fries I've ever eaten. (and I won't even go into the horrible service.) I just kept thinking about the awesome footlong hotdog and pasta salad that I got at Blizzard Beach a few years back...was it just being at WDW that made it taste so good? I suppose we will forever be spoiled by our Disney experiences, and I just found it amusing that while I usually long for the potato-encrusted red snapper at the FF or the steaks at AP, today I was jones-ing for a good french fry.

I know what you mean. When we are in Orlando I like to visit WDW as well as the other parks such as Universal, IOA and Seaworld. We really like Seaworld but last year when we were there the food was terrible. When we are there in October we will be visiting again but before we go we are eating in the Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club.
