We last left off with us heading over to WCC to meet up with friends from back home in PA! One of Kayla's BFF's to be exact, and one of my fav momma friends. For those of you that don't know the story behond meeting up with our friends, go back to my PTR.
After we got ready, we hopped into tye mini van..which I just decided needs a name...why doesn't she have a name?? Anywho, we got lost as all heck trying to find WCC! Eventually we did get there, and I loved it! Wilderness lodge is awesome! It is my goal to be able to stay there one day!
So in the months prior to this night my friend Michelle and I had a little plan.. we knew what this place was all about. The kids and our Dh/DF did not.bwhahahahaha! Tonight also happened to be her DH's bday
She goes to check us in and sneakily tells them to make sure they bring out the cake she ordered. They give her a buzzer and we were seated about 10 mins later. Upon being seated we were greeted by the cutest puerto rican rosie perez sounding waitress. I forget her name and I'm so mad about that! She really did sound and looked quite a bit like Rosie Perez! So she introduces herself and then proceeds to be kinda "rude". The hubbers and kids were like ***, Michelle and I were just grinning. All of us ordered shakes which were included as a drink on the
ddp and dxdp. We also ordered rootbeers. Michelle and her family were not on the dxdp so they did not get to order apps. We however were able to order them. Kayla got a salad (i think), I got the nachos, platter and John got the sausage and cheese thingy. They were all good. Much better then I expected actually. Don't killme but I totally spaced out here and didn't take any pics of the food...ooops

I forgot to mention that when the waitress brought us our drinks she threw a gabillion straws all ovedr the table, she did the same with the napkins, she owuld just throw them all over the table. Poor Kayla was sooo confused and said to me more then once that she didn't like our waitress because she was so rude lol..eventually she caught on..once she started seeing waiters and other waitresses screaming out for KETCHUPPPPPPPPPP!! The hubbers thought it was pretty cool too, although they looked worried that we may pull sometyhing on them....bwhahahaha. So for dinner John,Michelle and I ordered the skillet and Michelles husband ordered the roasted chicken. The kids all ordered mac and cheese. They even broughyt some egg free mac and cheese out for Jack. The kids did not like their mac and cheese. i tried it and thought it tasted good, and Jack loved it. luckily the skillet is huge. It came with beans that had some pulled pork or something in it, ribs,roast chicken,pulled pork,peel and eat shrimp, cornbread,corn on dee cob,coleslaw,a salad and mashed taters. I liked everything I had!! I did not like the cole slaw. Michelle ate all shrimp and pull pork as she can not eat meat off a bone, and John well, John despite his skinny stature can eat like a mofo!! he ate tons.He said it was decent enough.Michelles husband ate all his grub and said his was decent as well. We all were stuffed after this , but knew we had dessert coming. Michelle ordered a cake but Johna nd I ordered dessert anyways. I did this to kinda throw her hubs off track.. he kinda had a feelinga bout the cake.. At least i think he did becuase I heard him say mor ethen once, "if you try pulling some **** tonight I will slaughter you". Ahh to be in love
While we waited, the waitress flirted with jack. He reallly liked her, and she really liked him! It was very cute, and nice to see Jack interacting nicely!!
While we were waiting for dessert they started announcing bdays. I forget what they did for the first one, but the 2nd bday they announced for an 8 year old boy, and they said they needed all the girls to come up. Well here we are thinking they were going to make the girls sing to him..no no no.. once they got the girls up there they told them it was time to give the little boy his bday kiss!!Well you have never seen so many little girls run as fast as these lil' ones did!! It was very cute!
After that fiasco the waitress brought us our desserts.. at this point we were a bit confused as to why the cake had not been brought out yet. Apparently there was some confusion at the podium. We ate our dessert while that was getting sorted out. I ordered the smores cheese cake and John ordered the cinnamon tortilla with vanilla ice cream. Both desserts were eh. The tortilla was better then the cheescake. That was actually quite dissapointing. I did get pics of this though

They even brought jack out some egg,peanut,tree nut free cookies, which he loved!!! They gave us several packets to take with us for the rest of the tri p too!

Then finally our waitress came back out and had a little cake with her. She gets on her mic and calls her fellow co workers to come over. She proceeded to announce to the whole resturaunt that it was john's bday (her husbands name is john as well). He was kinda mortified, but kept a good face on!

She then asked if he thought they could sing happy birthday backwards... so what do you think they did??
They turned around and sang happy birthday with their backs to us lol
All in all this dinner was a whole lot of fun!! Food was not great, but the atmosphere and wait staff were great. I doubt we will go back next year, but it may be an option for a trip after that. It is def something to do if you have a large group. But don't tell them what to expect!! This dinner counted as 1ts from each of us.

It's their personalities which only slightly shows in pics that make them truly the cutiest though! and yes, being in AK makes you feel like your in the dang jungle!! Way to go Disney for making it very realistic lol

Kidding. I'm sure they like him they just don't show it. But then again....they're like that with everyone. Fake and cold. Thank God my baby aint like 'em! 
I swear I think he's adopted! The kids...I have no doubt that they wouldn't have a good time. All three of them would be inseparable.
for next year since we booked bounce back at the same resort.
Can't wait to hear more.
