Holy Canoli, that list made me tired

Well, today while I was busy "working" i went online and set up all my bills that need to be paid while we are on vacation.

So, that my only suggestion....get your bills in order, if you have any while you are away

I've not done anything and im wondering if I should?

I love the fact that you are always cooking or baking and making homemade cards and things - you are too cute I hope i'll be a great mum like you one day!!

Your plans sound great and I am sure you will get most of them done. We leave in 2 days for Disney and I have a similiar list. I have been working on my home made Christmas cards all week but will still have about 20 more to do when I get back. Good luck and have a fantastic time at Disney!

One thing that I know is on my list that I didn't see was to schedule payments for when we're away. But that might come into your budget check. We pay things online, just so much easier. So yesterday we went through and scheduled everything for the correct day when we're gone. And then I double checked my budget. And if you have no bills due when you're gone then you are a lucky duck!!!

Don't feel bad about having lofty dreams for your lists and what you want to get done. I am the same way, and as things get closer I start to realize what's not that important and what really does and doesn't get done. I suspect you'll have the realization too, but you almost have to put it down on paper and really make the old college try to get it done to make you feel better. I get it, I'm the same way.

Anyway I think that the list is pretty complete. And by the time you get to Disney you more than deserve this vacation!!!

Awwww! Thanks JoJo!!! I think I will leave several thngs for when we get back!! Looking at it on here makes me crazy!! I did call and verify...heard too many horror stories about ressie's just going missing!! Give them a call!!!!

All of the bills are ready...wish they would stop for Christmas!! LOL

I sometimes feel like I set myself up for failure with my high expectations of myself, but I know deep down it is impossible to get all of this done before Disney. I will be happy to get done with a good chunk of it. The work is not going anywhere...it will be here when we get back!!

I feel like I will need it even more by next week with so much work getting done!

adr's - yep...called adr line and had them pull all of them up and read them off to me with times and dates and locations

shampoo rugs - only downstairs bedrooms have carpets...so not too bad...rest is wood

money - we are bringing cash...I just am putting everything in individual envelopes according to what it is for. So, I want it to already be broken down in the denominations I will need. I am getting like $50 in singles for just misc. tips (airport, bell svcs, etc.) and then the amounts for all our meal tips (figured high) will have their own envelopes individually. Also, the carriage ride, photo shoot and some spare cash besides our spending credit that we got. Oh!! And, a stash for adult drinks!!!!! A lot of this can be in like $20's ,but not all, so I will have to go to the bank with a list!!!

kids' rooms - this is something that will probably go to the wait til after Disney list...just too big of a project!!

tree - you buy it with a "ball" on the bottom. It is like buying a bush in one of those plastic containers and planting it. It has the roots and dirt around the roots. That is the ball and it is wrapped in burlap. The hole has to be dug now since the ground is still a bit soft. We can keep it here outside. But inside can only be for 10 days. So, the day or two after Christmas, the boys will go out and put it in the ground. It comes about 4-6' now and is shaped. But, they grow to be full size huge pine trees!!! Kinda nice to "save a tree" I guess.

Breathe - what???? Don't know how to slow down!!! I do this for the whole month of December every year...Disney or no Disney!

I do have a packing list...I keep adding to it!! LOL

I am confident I will get done what I need to...just not a lot of extra!!

Our condo has the livingroom/dining room combo, the bedrooms aren't walked in enough to need to be shampooed!

Sorry to steal some thunder but I have a question

I know your DD is 10ish and I was wondering what types of Art Supplies she would be interested in...

My parents chose 2 girls, 11 and 12 for the Giving Tree program this year. They don't have much money at all, what we get for them is what they are getting for Xmas so we really want to do it right.

They've asked for clothes, gym shoes, and dishes to eat on but on the wish list for the girls they put: Jewelry, Make-Up, and Art Supplies.

My mom and I were thinking of this Hannah Monatana set where you trace/draw clothes and design the clothes. We didn't know if that was too old or too young for that age.

What types of things is your DD into???? Assuming they don't have fine things as a TV, computer, and video games.

I have been slacking in my PTR reading (and even moreso my PTR commenting) but just wanted to swing by to say I'm all caught up now. I hope you and your family had a fantastic Thanksgiving and I can't believe you are leaving already on Wednesday!

I looked at your list and while I couldn't think of anything to add, I just wanted to say that it exhausted me just looking at it.

I know lists are helpful (I definitely have my own) but in a way, they just stress me out more. Listing all of those little things like "buy Christmas shirt" just make the list sooooooooo long. Ugh.

Good luck getting everything accomplished, I'm sure that even if a few things don't get done, you'll still have an amazing trip.
