Sorry to steal some thunder but I have a question

I know your DD is 10ish and I was wondering what types of Art Supplies she would be interested in...

My parents chose 2 girls, 11 and 12 for the Giving Tree program this year. They don't have much money at all, what we get for them is what they are getting for Xmas so we really want to do it right.

They've asked for clothes, gym shoes, and dishes to eat on but on the wish list for the girls they put: Jewelry, Make-Up, and Art Supplies.

My mom and I were thinking of this Hannah Monatana set where you trace/draw clothes and design the clothes. We didn't know if that was too old or too young for that age.

What types of things is your DD into???? Assuming they don't have fine things as a TV, computer, and video games.

I looked at your list and while I couldn't think of anything to add, I just wanted to say that it exhausted me just looking at it.

I know lists are helpful (I definitely have my own) but in a way, they just stress me out more. Listing all of those little things like "buy Christmas shirt" just make the list sooooooooo long. Ugh.

Good luck getting everything accomplished, I'm sure that even if a few things don't get done, you'll still have an amazing trip.

OK...so since I can't sleep because I am so super excited about our trip to Disney in 69 hours (but who's counting), I am going to do an update about some exciting news I got!!!

As if the fact that we will be in Disney THIS WEEK isn't exciting enough, I got more exciting news!!! Yay!!!!

I have a really good friend that lives in Palm Bay, FL named Jes. It is on the east coast right across from Orlando. Normally when we go to Disney, we go for the first few days and stay with Jes and her family. However, they moved since we were there last and the new house is not big enough to accommodate both families. So, she is coming to us!!!!!!!! She is going to come over on the 8th after the kids get out of school and we are all going to go to the MVMCP together. They are going to get a room a stay over and go to AK with us the next day, too! I am really excited about this! We have breakfast with Jen and her family and then Jes will meet up with us in the park when they get around.

It has been over a year since I have seen Jes and I can't wait! She was the maid of honor in my wedding and she is Lulu's godmother. We have been friends since high school. Like us, she also has three kids. (Two boys nad one girl.) Her oldest (Kayla) is 8 and gets along great with Lulu. Then she has Noah who is almost 7. He is not close to my oldests' age, but LOVES him! So, it makes him feel good to have a little kid admire him so much. Lastly, there is Jeremy (J-Man). He is almost 5. So, he and Poot get along fabulous!! It works out perfectly...everyone has someone!

Anyway, just wanted to share my great news with everyone! You will all get to hear about our adventures in my TR!

And, I am really going to try to put another update up tomorrow...a long awaited promise!!!

Like they're more special and your relationship with them is so much stronger. I feel like that about my maid of honor too. She lives in South Jersey, so she's kind of far.

This is so super exciting!!! You fly Wednesday or Thursday? Greg and I were riding into work today and I was cursing myself for not flying today. I think these last 3 days are going to be the hardest.
