It's getting close ! NYE.. what are you doing?

We'll be arriving around 5:00 pm at our offsite location. Dinner ressies for all ten of us at Ohana's. (Never been, so I hope it's good!) Then to the Poly beach for fireworks... I heard this was a good spot... someone correct me if I'm wrong!

Arriving around 3:00pm on Dec 30th & staing at Pop Music. We're doing the MK for NYE, got our ADR set at Liberty Tree Tavern. I know it will be packed but I'm really looking forward to it

We will do the 8:00 Luau at the Poly and then hang out to watch fireworks. Up early on 1/1 to hit the MK. The crowds are always very low there on the First, so it has become a family tradition.

This year is our family's first trip down to disney for NYE. WE are very excited...wah a better way to bring in the new year than spending it at the most magical place on earth.
we have no idea on where to go what to do.....anyone have some good advice on the best park to go to best fireworks, etc?

We are going to be at MGM
We have a 7:00 dinner at The Brown Derby. This will be our first NYE at Disney and I can't wait!!

This will be our first NYE at WDW. We're looking forward to it.

We will be arriving at Epcot sometime in the morning and enjoying the atmosphere. We've heard each country counts down their NY when it arrives in their homeland.

We'll be heading to Coral Reef for dinner and then just taking it slow, while we wait for the countdown. Once the fireworks are done, definitely planning to stick around and go on some rides rather than wait in line for buses.

I think you can see some (but not much) of the Epcot fireworks from the boardwalk. And from the beach at the Poly you should be able to see the MK fireworks. Dont know about MGM.

We plan to arrive at MK at 9:00 AM. We will spend the entire day there. Expecting it to be a mob scene we will just relax take our time seeing and doing everything in the park with lots of rest breaks during the long day. We have dinner Reservations at the Castle at 6:30 PM aterwards we will find a cup of coffee and a great spot to see the parade and fireworks at midnight. There is just Hubby & I so we plan to just take everything slow and easy to avoid getting frustrated and cranky. We have done both Christmas and New Years Eve at MK during the past 3 years so we know what to expect crowd wise. This will be our first time to do both and our first time to have dinner in the Castle. We are so excited about this. We can hardly wait. We are staying off site with our own car so don't have to fight the crowds on the bus or tram.

Early arrival at Epcot with 11:30 L @ Coral Reef lv around 2:00 to get ready for early seating (5:45) @ Victoria and Alberts.After dinner ~9:00pm we'll get an update on which park is open and watch the fireworks from there.
This will be only our 2nd time to ever leave a park on NYE in at least 10years.

If you just want to see some fireworks outside of a park, then I would go to the Congress Park area of Saratoga Springs Resort. They have a fireworks viewing area (next to the small pool) to watch the fireworks going off at Pleasure Island.
