Not trying to be rude, but that is not totally true. Are you a prep? I am. Ok, the ones at my school arn't that way. People think that we are dramatic brats, but we arn't. We are nice. Sorry to be all rude, but all preps are the same. Not all people are sterotypes.

The vast majority of preps I've encountered wouldn't win the nice award. A lot of people I know make fun of people behind their backs, insult people for petty differences, and make fun of kids who arn't like them. I know not every prepp is like that, but like I said, out of the ones I've met and encountered, they're mostly like that. (also used to be a prep)

On the biker subject. They get so much crap. I swear. My dad is a sorta a biker guy. He has 3 Harley Davidsons and travels all over for charity events.

Actually I've always just thought people like that were full of themselves.

I can be a prep when I want to and I have sort of rocker shirts and shoes, but I like to change my style alot, I dont like to wear a certain kind of clothes that categorizes me into something.

I'm me and thats just it, take it or leave it.
But alot of girls at my old school were preps, and the ones who werent were considered emo or goth and were left out or tried to become friends with them so that they could fit in.
Preps at my school were awful and thats why I hated it, they made my life miserable.

But in my new school I have met some preps that are super nice and are not stuck-up and full of themselves, their clothes, and their money. Guess it just matters what kind of person you really are at heart.

Now thats not true.I hate how people judge girls who are quiet.I'm very quiet and shy but i'm not mean and I don't judge people.I'm just very shy so that I can say is not true.

I've been called a smart[insert swear for buttocks here] because I never spoke to a guy. He used to go to my school, and when he came back, I just never spoke to him. One day he's like 'What about you [insert word here]? You haven't even spoken to me since I came back, what your problem?'
And he kept up with that till the end of the year.

I know it's just your experience.
But that's definately not true, for me at least
I'm really quiet I mean, nobody is perfect, we all judge people somehow and some way. But I know girls who are loud and obnoxious that are butts.

my opinion on this situation:
i kinda agree i guess. but i don't judge people right off the back. like if i see a biker or a goth im not gonna be like "Aw, man! He's gotta be mean!" or "OMFGG, she's a freak." Or whatever the case. Because how a person dresses doesn't make them who they are and they shouldn't be judged by it. No matter whats on the outside, whats on the inside of them is really what theyre about and i cant stand it when people say stuff and dont have any evidence of it, because they havent gotten to known the person.
I like to dress preppy, for a majority of the time. and other times, I'll bring out the beater and basketball shorts, or sweats. Whatever. Even more of the beach, kinda skater look.
I'm not a 'dramatic brat' either. I know some are, because alot of people who dress preppy have the money, and they feel significant to other people when they're in reality not. I'm proud of myself and what I have, and I don't put myself before other people just because of it, and i don't flaunt it.
I don't really think anyone has the right to say a prep is a gossip-obssessed-spoiled-brat or a goth a mean-scary-blahblahblah person just by looking at them and expecting that because of how they dress.


and just to make this clear so i dont have haters, I'm not trying to stir drama and i didnt direct any of that to anyone its just my opinion so dont yell. hahaha

same here. im seriously the loudest, craziest, and worst behaved person in school. i cant help it that im loud or any of that, thats who i am. i cheerlead too and i dont think people should be steroetyped as faking being loud? That doesnt even make sense to me?

And I can give you a perfect example of someone who looked nice but was a real jerk.

When I was in 6th grade, mind you we're all new then. So we try our hardest to fit in, right? Well my friend and I were in the halls after school waiting for my other friend. And one of the extreme preps come near us and start talking. She had someone elses gym shirt on. Let's use the name Jane. And I knew that wasn't her name. So I decided I'd make a joke and I said, "Hi Jane!" and she came up to me.
She said, "And you are?"
And you are.
Absolutely amazed.
I couldn't believe how unfriendly some people can be. I'm not saying I haven't had my rude days. But I haven't gone up to someone and said "And you are?" for cracking a joke. It wasn't even very offensive.

But a good example of a guy who looks tough but is actually extremely nice is my dad's friend.
They're both "biker dudes" *cough it's midlife crisis cough*. He has a silvery gray goatee and he's really... large. He looks like he could take someone down with a push. But he's really an amazingly nice guy.

It goes to show how this world goes around. Preps, bikers, goths. The list goes on.

It's life.
