Yeah! It's Friday!!!
On the agenda today is to see if the park pool is going to be open even though its sprinkling.. The kids will not believe me that it's closed so we will have to drive out there shortly.. :confused3

Otherwise, it's going to be a relaxing day.. I'm going to work on a few swap items and enjoy the weekend.. All 5 kids will be here this weekend so there shouldn't be a dull moment! :Pinkbounc

Hope everyone has a great day!!!

Good morning!

Today Jonah and I are heading out for some errands. I'm finding out that it takes some tactical planning to go out for a couple of hours with a 3 month old! The biggest issue is that I am pumping breast milk for Jonah, as he has issues with latching on, so 5-6 times per day I have to pump for 45 minutes at the time. All errands have to be scheduled around those times!

I think we'll go to the Dollar Tree, Target, and the grocery store.

Also, this evening I'm cooking stuffed shells for dinner for DH. Then we are going to the pool for the first time since I had my gall bladder removed a couple of weeks ago.

We are looking forward to a relaxing weekend!

Today I am calling our builders and checking on when they are fixing our problems once again. I am also going to work on a swap item as I didn't like the way it was coming out but I have a new idea I am excited about. I suppose I also should read the book I need to get read for school but I have absolutely no desire to do so anytime soon.

Working this morning and then more packing. We close Tuesday and move on Friday so I need to get on the ball. LOL But you know me I'm feeling scrappy so I may have to work a little bit of that in too. I'm sure my DH will love to see me doing that but hey I've already packed way more then him so he owes me some.

Working until 1pm - our normal work hours (we work longer days Mon-Thurs). Then, I'm laying peel & stick tile down in my 2nd bedroom, which will become my scrapbook room (finally!). I painted earlier in the week and removed the old, yucky carpeting (when I moved in - the walls were "Pepto Bismol pink" and the carpeting was turquoise blue EEEKK!). Now the walls are "Danford Iris" a pretty shade of yellow and I'm putting down tile that looks like wood floors.

I so understand where you are coming from... I was putting photo mats together and than didn't like the embellishment part but love the mats.. than last night about 3AM I woke up and the idea hit me! I hope it works!!!!

Why 3AM? Darling furball (Streaks our kitty) decided to go on the prowl and drop things off dd's dresser.. scared dd and she fell out of bed with a thud! work me up and I nearly hit the ceiling! :teeth:

Not a lot happening here today. Getting my hair and nails done for a aprty tomorrow.

Quick story.
My niece is 16 and back in December we gave her my FIL's car (as he had recently passed away). It's not the nicest or newest, but gets her where she needs to go. Anyway, for three days now she has complained that Pierre (the car) just doesn't want to drive. Not forward, not in reverse! Well my sister gets ready to bring him to the garage to see what the problem is and low and behold, I get a call and my sis is cracking up. Seems, my niece has been driving with the emergency brake on for days! :teeth:

The last time we moved I had to pack everything.. he had to have an emergency appendectomy! Yes, 3 days before we moved.. You should have seen me asking my family/friends to help!

I'm so glad to the move is happening now!!! I know you were worried there for a while!!!

Oh my! That looks sounds about as good as the sea foam blue and green 70's decor my dining room had! I felt like I was all of 5 again when I moved in!
Your new room sounds great!!!

:lmao: OMG! The poor kid! No wonder the car wouldn't do what it was suppose to do! I'll have to share this story with my DH (if you don't mind) and remind him to talk to our oldest about this since he has his permit now.. :car:

Have a great time at the party tonight... We'll have a house full of kids like always!! :)

HHMMMM Let's see what shall I do today. Clean the house? Nah, it will be trashed before I step out of the room. Do dishes? Nah, my children have not mastered 1 cup per day yet. I know I'll swap, I'm up to my eyeballs in swaps.

Nancy you should have called me or PMed me I was up until 4 working on my Morocco library pockets. Of course I come up with a brilliant idea and then can't do it cause I'm so tired I keep messing it up. So I'll be wrapping those up today. Then I will battle your personal favorite, mini file folders. I'm putting the paper piecing aside for the last minute, they are giving me as much trouble as you had with the folders.

I had planned to do a lot of work on swaps today but I woke up feeling like death warmed over. I avoided getting sick all winter and here I am with a cold in June! Go figure. I think I'll load up on VItamin C and rest for the morning then hopefully I'll feel better. I need to go to Mike's and AC Moore later. Is it wrong that not only do I go to those 2 stores more often than I go grocery shopping but I make a shopping list more detailed than my grocery list? ;) My stepdaughters are arriving for the weekend this afternoon so I need to pick up the house somewhat. One of my kitty's litter boxes is in one of their bedrooms and he has tracked litter all over the floor. I don't think she'll appreciate that.

I feel your pain with the paper piecing.. I want to try one for the page kit couple swap with KAMommy..but every time I think I have it figured out it someone yells and it goes south!
I've gotten some inspiration on file folders I'm going to try for another swap... Maybe I like those little puppies into shape this time and they won't get the better of me!

As for cleaning.. I'll do that shortly.. I want to finish this project I'm doing with a set of photo mats first..while I'm working on those however, I'm being productive since I'm done by the laundry room.. I'm doing the ever so :laundy: for the millionth time this week!

Detailed list! They go every where with me.. Mainly, so I don't forget to stop by the stores that are most important! LOL
DH has now decided that if I ask to go to dinner.. it's for the sole purpose of stopping by Jo's or Mike's for some items! :rotfl2:

I hope you have fun. There are many times I could work at Disney. I hope your day is filled with happy guests and the ability to give them a little magic.

Hope it goes well!!!! :)

Big meeting today at work so the morning was shot!

Planned on leaving early but guess what - I'm still here!

Hoping to go to a "Taste of" tonight but it looks like rain. Tomorrow it's off to a local European farmers market, breakfast out, then a graduation party. I think I'll be lazy on Sunday.
