We woke up late this morning to no snow. By the time I had finished my shower, it was snowing. Snow doesn't freak me out, but it seems to cause mass panic here in the South. I was laughing my butt off when there were masses of people that were using their flashers driving down roads that were just wet, not frozen, just wet.
This was my normal grocery shopping day. OMG, the store was more packed than I have ever seen. I was able to get a couple of bags of rock salt for the drive way, just in case. Corey has to travel to lower Alabama tomorrow, so we are taking the freezing temps seriously because icy roads are a big possiblity as the temps start to fall more throughout the night.
For now, it's officially freezing outside. It's snowing. There is ice on the branches of the trees and the pine trees limbs are heavy with snow and ice. There is ice developing on our powerlines.
Thank God for hot coffee and a Saturday inside with my honey.
