Ok so I was just checking my grades online and its finnally hit me that I'm going into high school next year. It makes me so sad I mean when I went into middle school it wasnt that big of a deal because they had just built a new middle school and all the sixth grade teachers were moving up to middle school with us. But this year there all staying behind and I may never see some of my favorite teachers again. I mean I'm going to be in high school and the class time is the same time as ours so theres no chance of me going and visiting after school. Theres only one teacher will see for sure again and thats because her daughters in the same grade as me thank goodness she was one of my favorite teachers but still it makes me so sad. I mean its just so sad and I've only been out of school for three days okay rant over.

Your gonna love HS.

::yes:: I was scared to death going to high school because I moved to a new city 600 miles away from my friends a month before school started. But I didn't let that get to my. I made the volleyball team and made a ton of new friends who helped me meet a ton of others and so on. Just be outgoing and eager to meet new people and you'll be fine!

I just finished my freshman year and it was the greatest year of my life so far. I hope yours is too! If you have any concerns or whatever you can PM me. =)

You know what? Sometimes change is good. Don't worry, you will meet new teachers and some of these will become your favorites. Each teacher brings something differen't to your life, its good to have variety.

Hanve fun.

You're going to love high school. I just graduated from high school on Tuesday, and I really miss it already. Don't worry, more good times are sure to come.

I hated middle school, so I was happy to go to high school.
But I was pretty upset when I left my elementary school.

Like everyone above said, it'll be different, but you'll have fun. Don't worry too much :]

i loved middle school

mainly becuase we didn't do anything.

and i was a little iffy about high school and the first couple weeks i didn't like it. i really wanted to go back to MS. but now i love high school.

you'll love it.

Yeah you're going to love High School.
We all have to move on sometimes it can be hard but you'll survive :)

Im graduating from middle school tomorrow, in a way im really excited about going to high school, i mean i hate my middle school. But i love the teachers there, and the HS is alot bigger, so im bound to get lost a few *dozen* times. But i luckily have friends who are alreaedy there so I know they'll help me.

Last year, not only did I leave teachers behind, I left my friends behind. All of them. I went to a different school. It sucked at first - a lot, but you cope.

Do your teachers have a district-given e-mail address?
If yes, e-mail them occasionally.

I was really lucky when I moved from middle school to high school because it's the same exact building. A bunch of my classes this year were in the middle school wing because of space issues. So I got to see my old middle school teachers all the time. :thumbsup2

It was still a change obviously but it was an easier change.:cool1:

most of the teachers I like have facebook, so i'll add them during the summer :) ( the teachers are not allowed to have relationships outside of school with a student) I hope they give us a map that first day :goodvibes

Thanks, just curious, but whats the biggest difference between HS and MS?

For me, it was less dramatic.
Middle school you're stuck with the same people everyday, all day. It's frustrating. As hard as you try to stay out of peoples business, you're in such closed confines with them that you hear what's going on and the gossip starts floating around.

In High school, your classes are more spread out. You have different people in each class (although obviously some people are in more than one with you), and you may not be around the people who made things so dramatic in middle school.
There are people that I have not spoken to all year because I didn't have class with them. And it felt great to not know everything going on in their lives. Everything felt laid back with less stress. It was only about halfway through the year that I realized that I didn't have to hear anyone's problems anymore unless I actually bothered to find out.
