It's finally *someday* a June 2011 PTR...Ack!! Less than a week!!

Your daughter is so cute and I loved the video :lovestruc
Looking forward to reading more!!

So, if you were taking your soon to 5 year old DD to the BBB when would you do it?

Your first day which happens to at MK, or on your second MK day which is day 5 keeping in my that our princess meal will be on day 6.

I can see pros and cons to both ways.

I'm totally rethinking my "which park what day" plan. Great huh? Now that I think I've got my dining all figured out I can decided what day to go where. I'm going to compare the recommended park between a couple of different planning websites so I can see it all side by side. I probably won't leave it up long though since you aren't supposed to share the info you get from your subscriptions.

June 1:
Planner A says: Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Animal Kingdom are all basically ties, so avoid Hollywood Studios. It gives the park numerical ratings and HS actually has the lowest number so the smallest crowd but it's rated last because of the extra magic hour.

Planner B says: pretty much the same thing.

We've chosen Magic Kingdom

June 2:
Planner A says: Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom. Fantasmic is this night which knocks the rating for HS down. Gay days is what brings AK to the bottom of their list. The park with the lowest crowd rating is Epcot.

Planner B says: Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom. Different because Magic Kingdom has EMH, which knocks it all the way down to the worst park for this planner.

We've chose Epcot, but we might switch for Hollywood Studios to see Fantasmic on a weekend night rather than weekend.

June 3:
Planner A: Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios. AK is one of the best parks though the crowd estimation is the highest of all the parks...

Planner B: Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot

We've chosen Animal Kingdom, I guess it'll work.

June 4:
Planner A: Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom

Planner B: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom

We've chose Magic Kingdom, we have to spend at least two days there.

June 5:
Planner A: Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios. Epcot has the lowest crowd predictor by far, but it's the park to avoid because of Gay days.

Planner B: Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios

We're going to Hollywood Studios against the advice of both planners because we want to see Fantasmic. This would be a good day to park hop, but at this point we don't have hoppers. I haven't figured out yet if it would be worth it.

June 6:
Planner A: Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom

Planner B: Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom

We're going to Epcot, we've got to spend two full days there, it's my favorite park!

June 7:
Planner A: Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom

Planner B: Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom

We don't know where we are going, but I don't think it's Magic Kingdom, probably Epcot or Hollywood Studios. I can't really see wanting to go back to Animal Kingdom as it was our least favorite last time. This just looks like a busy day in all the parks.

What would you choose?

I think I would do bbb on the day closest to your princess meal. We are so excited in the first day that no one really has much interet in extra appointments.
Im curious to see how your park days compare to TP and TGM. I have TP and have considered TGM and ridemax.

I feel like I revise the schedule everyday and then fight to get the dining that I want.

I've got TGM and TP so that's part of it. I just want to MAKE SURE I'm at the best park on the best day! Ugh, it's all relative though. I probably make 3 new ADRs and dump 3 ADRs each and every day.

I'm starting to feel like I'm getting it settled though, slowly but surely. I want to make sure we get to see Fantasmic and DH kind of wants to do SWW, but he's not a super fan so I don't think he'll be heart broken if we don't.

Now, if only I could plan for the weather I'd be set. LOL, DH thinks I'm losing it because I've been going to weatherunderground.com and tracking the average temps throughout the day and when it really starts to heat up and when it starts to cool down. The other day I was saying "so the temp really goes up between 10 and 11 am, so if we can be at lunch by 11:30 or so and then out of the parks that would be great. Then the temp usually takes a dramatic drop between 7 and 8pm so that would be good because we can have dinner around 6 and then be out again when it's cooling off." He looked at me like I was absolutely the most crazy person he'd ever met!

I just really like to know what's coming and plan accordingly. He knows how smoothly our last trip went, thanks to my planning, so I don't think he's going to say anything :-P

Ack, I disappeared for a few days.

Life has gotten hectic! In addition to meticulously planning this vacation we are buying a new house, and we close on May 3rd! We are way excited, but that means I've been crazy busy packing etc. We had our current house on the market but we decided it would be in our best interest to try to rent it out, so now we're fixing as much up as we can so hopefully it will rent for enough money that we can pay the mortgage and HOA fee with none out of pocket.

So, needless to say, we've been busy around here!

Also, DD is playing soccer and t-ball so that keeps us pretty busy too. As long as it's not crazy competitive I don't have any problem with her doing two sports, but as soon as they get competitive we'll whittle down to one at a time. So many of our week nights we are out of the house.

Will I ever get my planning all done?? I've got the first 1/2 of day one at MK planned out, only 6 full days left to plan...

/
I didn't bother seeing who recommended which parks on what days, I just planned to go in the order that I preferred. We have only 3 days of parks so we are doing MK day 1, Epcot day 2, and AK & HS both on day 3. :scared1:
Congrats on the new house!!!
And yes, I wish we could plan for the weather!! That's my biggest worry!! :thumbsup2

Well, in the hopes of having a better time at Disney, being able to stay a little cooler, and get around the parks with less exhaustion I have started the HCG diet.

For those of you that don't know, you take drops (or injections by the doc) and eat a very low calorie diet for 3-6 weeks at a time. Then you stop taking the drops and slowly reincorporate a reasonable number of calories into your diet. When done properly it's suppose to induce rapid weight loss and if you reintroduce the calories the right way (by not jumping back into bad fat and high carbs and refined sugars) you should be able to maintain the weight loss.

So, anyway, this just adds another layer to my already chaotic life :rotfl2: :rotfl:

We'll see how it goes. I'm only doing it for 3 weeks...I can do anything for three weeks...right?

did you get this from the doctor?

did you get this from the doctor?

No, I didn't get it from the doctor, but truth be told...I've already quit the diet. I rarely diet because yoyo-ing is just as unhealthy as being overweight. I nearly passed out just from laughing at DD's tee ball practice last night and that was when I decided it couldn't be healthy. If I have all the "released fat reserves" bouncing around in my blood I shouldn't be dizzy as heck and close to passing out, I should have plenty of energy in there, you know?

I'll stick with a modified low-carb diet and see where that gets me.

You are right- if it makes you feel like that it probably isn't healthy. I dint know much about it though. Good luck with carb modification!!

The changes continue...

We were leaving OKC at 5:35p on May 31st and arriving at MCO at 10:30p. It would only be 9:30 our time so we figured Molly would be okay, not TOO tired. The problem was that after 10:00p ME doesn't pick up your bags for you and by the time we got to POP it would probably 11:30 or later and we have a full day planned the next day, meaning DD would be crazy tired for our first day of the trip. Not a good idea in my book!

So, it cost about $60 more per person but I change the flight to leave OKC at 8:00a, arriving in Dallas at 8:55, then switch planes leaving Dallas at 9:45 and arriving at MCO at 2:15pm (it stops again somewhere else but we don't have to deplane). Molly should be ready to relax by that point. We can rest, change clothes or swim, have a snack and explore. We'll have plenty of time to get settled and get to bed at a decent hour :-)

Wow, we are getting ready for Florida heat without even trying. It is 85 outside today, full sunshine and we just went outside to play t-ball with DD. We came in 20 minutes later red-faced and sweaty.

We're going to have to spend a good amount of time outside before the trip so we can acclimate to the weather.

Enjoying this! :) I've never understood TRs so thought I'd make an effort to read one and see what it's about. I want to do my own now! lol

Spending a little time thinking about what I want for CS.

Magic Kingdom: Casey's sounds good but I don't know if they take the dining plan or if it would be all snack credits. Last time we did Columbia Harbor House, Cosmic Rays, Pinocchio Haus, and Tortuga Tavern. I think we'd like CHH again.

Epcot: that will have to be a post in and of itself, SOOO many good eating places there! I'll come back to that tomorrow.

Hollywood Studios: Pizza Planet? Sounds good to me :-)

Animal Kingdom: Maybe Flame Tree Barbecue, that sounds good right now anyway...I think I'm hungry.

Duh, I meant PTR, of course :)

I'll be reading along with you, but as I'm new I wont be able to offer any help!

Scheduled Molly's Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique visit today. That will probably be the highlight of her trip, she is such a girly-girl and loves to dress up and be pretty.

We'll be at the boutique in the Magic Kingdom on Sunday, June 5th at 6:30pm. I hope this works out. She can wear her Aurora dress around for the evening and hopefully it will be cool enough in the evening for it not to be miserable. We have our lunch at Akershus the next day so maybe it will stay nice and neat for that.

Ack, I'm getting so excited!
