Well our 4th trip is FINALLY official and underway.
I have been to DW now 3 times. Our first time was in 2002, 2nd in 2005 and our last trip was in 2008. Every time we went we knew we would be back and already started planning our next trip before we left but after our last trip in 08 although we knew we would be back "someday" it was the first time we didn't have a "definite" trip planned.
We had hoped to maybe do some "other" god forbid, vacations
But as is always the way the economy didn't cooperate and those other trips just always seem to be WAY too expensive when you have 5 to 7 people traveling. There was 5 people in my immediate family and 7 if you add my parents. The airfare ALONE is astronomical and then accomodations, food you name it.
We always end up going back to Disney because either DL or DW we always seem to find really cheap deals on airfare (usually
) and at least for DL I have had an AP for the last 4 years so that takes care of the tickets and then my mom has a timeshare so that has always taken care of the rooms. The food has been an issue at DW but last time she bought an AP and we did tables in wonderland.
Well THIS time the reason we are going is because we found out that she had a few weeks on her timeshare that she didn't even KNOW about that had to be used or lost! So we gave one to her partner in the timeshare and we are splitting our time between 6 days at CSR to take advantage of free dinning and spending the rest of the week at the vistana.
We arrive on Nov 11 and are staying through the 21st. I am SO excited because we have never done the dinning so I am anxious to see how that goes compared to doing it free style as we have always done in the past and we are trying some new places this time.
We are also going to the new Harry Potter land at IOA and the girls will be doing BBB. And we have a free day and might FINALLY go to a water park.
Everything has been up in the air because of finances and other crazy life stresses but mom has paid the deposists for our package as well as the timeshare and yesterday she bought our air tickets and I made all our ADRS.
So it is pretty much a done deal!!
