Tonight's show was even funnier than last week's show. Oh, and I also miss the Bob Newhart show. There is nothing like his dry humor - since Jack Benny passed away.
So far the two shows of the season have been great just like they told us they would be. But I have a question. Where are the kids? Did it seem strange to anyone that the kids didn't drive up to visit the grandparents? Just an observation.
Last night's show ws so funny. Frank and Marie remind me so much of my inlaws that I felt great vicarious vindication when Ray went on his "It's YOU" rant.
But right...the kids weren't with their parents or grandparents or aunt and uncle...a passing reference to a sitter or something would have been nice...certainly Marie would have asked about them if they didn't come up to visit.
Marie and Frank got kicked out of the condo because nobody liked them! Marie was insulting people and Frank was being his usual crude self. So they had to go back to the old house, and it ended up that they were going to move back in and let Robert and Amy live with them there.
Poor Robert!! That scene where he was talking to God was so funny! And when Debra turned to Ray, pointed upwards and said "He really does mess with him a lot..." That just cracked me up! LOL!! He just never gets a break.
So I guess they really fooled us with that first episode! Frank and Marie are still going to be RIGHT there. LOL
I thought Ray Romano has looked so tired these past two shows. Must be tough finetuning that script the night before the show is shot and also acting at the same time. But, that's why he gets the big bucks.
Hope this seasons contnue to be so good. I suspect amy's character will be pregnant soon and that will make for some funny lines.
