It's crazy at the Fort

I don't have a problem with people who park more than one car ON their site,,
my problem is when people think that half way out into road is their site.

A couple times I've had to ask people move their cars just so we could get our TT by them,,and one time I had to ask someone to move their car cause it was partly on our site and we couldn't back our TT in our spot.

yeah i hate when we go to back into a site and the truck directly across the street is hanging out in the road. then you go knock on their door and they arent their. You would think everyone knows it is a little tricky to get these rigs in some spots and have mutual courtesy, but alot of times they dont.

You said a mouthful!! I often wonder if people who let their vehicles stick out in the road are renting the equipment they are staying in, having the rental company set it up for them?

But as I know I'm beating a dead horse.... I do NOT understand for the life of me why people don't put their RV's as far back on the site as possible. Most sites are deep enough to put a 45' MH with a car in front of it. Some aren't, but most are. People in the full hook-up and preferred sites don't realize that their RV is NOT going to sink in to the coquina pad and get hopelessly stuck. I've never seen an RV stuck in a site in the 37 years I've been camping at Disney. I just don't get it. :confused3 If you have enough sewer hose, water hose & electric cord, you can very easily go all the way back. I know! We do it all the time.

Mmmm, nothin' beats sitting on the porch at Trails End enjoying a nice, frosty coquina colada.

to answer that question, in my case my plug is in the back and with a 35' 50amp cord I could not go back any further. some of the power stations at the fort are too much towards the front of the site. with a 40' trailer I have no other option than to park near the front. I have never left my vehicle stick out in the street though. I must also say that if you are going to have your unit washed, you may want to warn the people next to you, as Jose from amazing showed up two weeks ago and blasted both my trailer and truck in washing the neigbors rig. I have used him a few times and expected him to clean up his mess, but I guess that would have been too much to ask. Some of the sites in the 800 loop are just too close together, this was our first time out of the 700 loop thanks to the Marathon people, and think I will hold out for old 706 next time.Just love that site.

That is why I carry close to 60' of power cord, 60' of water hose and 35' of sewer hose. Not every campground is "perfect".

Halloween week we had a long site, most of the time we do. I asked Rich to pull all the way back, but then he realized that if he did our slide would hit 1 of 2 poles on the site. We have had that happen a lot, if we could pull back there is a pole in the way of the slide. That said I try to pull my car as far in as I can.

Same here, - 50 feet of power cord 75 feet of water hose and 25 feet of grey water line. However, if the grey water line is too akward, I just put the grey water bucket underneath. (Sometimes I'm actually to CLOSE to the sewer).
