We have only been back for 3 months and thinking about going again. I think the main reason was the weather was terrible in (late) October so we are craving the sun and hot waterparks. Equatica looks amazing too.

We are set on 2009 and want to try a different time of year, we have done Febriary, Xmas and Halloween so we have narrowed it down to April and August.

Big question though is which month is cheaper to go? We always fly-drive and stay in a villa - and always do ALL the parks.

Also is August likely to be filled with hurricanes ?!

April will be better in my opinion, cheaper flights, cheaper villa, better weather.
It might be spring break time for crowds, but I doubt it'll be worse than Aug.

Tell me about it. This last summer was my 4th WDW summer in a row. When I got home I thought I was sooooooo over it this time. Then the other day I kinda found myself on these boards and oh dear, I've costed out a holiday for DH and I in July to stay at WL. I couldn't help it, it was the voices, they told me to....(lies down on floor and beats ground with fists sobbing!!"

lol

does anyone know of a support group for this addiction?...we are going back again (7th time in 6 years)....and I know it wont be the last..................:confused3

Maybe we could set up our own addiction support group - but i doubt that any of us would be much support to the others!!

how very true.....well I suppose the boards are all the support we need (and dare I say it encouragement)!!!!!!

We have been to eurodisney twice and Florida twice in 3 years and still want to go back. My troubles have only just begun though as California is calling me too and I can hear the faint whisper of Disneyland Japan.

DCDMarkyG = Disney Compulsive Disorder, all my family has it but my friends all think I need help. :scared1:

given a choice.. i would go april rather than august...

the weather is less humid in april.. and a little cooler.
in terms of crowds... depending on when you go in april, if you can choose, then go towards the end of april... otherwise, yes you might get some stormy weather in august... but its usually just a day or so... we have never had terrible weather in August, despite travelling just after some pretty bad hurricanes -but its always a chance you take.

the last two weeks in august are fairly quiet at disney :)

: ]:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2 I like this one-I know the feeling .Went twice in 7 months (including our wedding out there:scared1: )Not going to December and already thinking of looking for a cheapy (if there is such a thing) for the end of august for 9 days.I don't think I can last 10 months without going:sick:
DCD-We went July /August last year and normally go november December and after a freak summer there we said never again as it was far to humid for us BUT as mentioned would sneek back if the price was right.Normally stay onsite but don't mind sleeping in the car:lmao:
I would go April by choice as the crowds will be lower and less chance of rain and cheaper flights etc.Hubby and I both student nurses so cannot skip uni to see Mickey.GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR CHOICE
