...since my son Ryan passed away. We kept really busy today so we wouldn't sit around the house and mope. We had a nice picnic at the cemetary, then took the kids down to the beach and had lunch at the end of the pier. We miss both of the boys so much, I can't believe it's been a year since Ry left us. Though the hurt has lessened, it still still seems like it was only yesterday that I was rocking him in his favorite chair, singing to him - in my horrible singing voice, lol - to sleep. You can read all about Ryan if you click on the link in my siggy. Someday we plan on doing a nice informative website about Trisomy 14, but for now we just have this. DIS friends, please hug your children and tell them you love them everyday, never take them for granted. You NEVER know which path your lives can suddenly take.

I just clicked on your link, TODAY before you posted this! WOW! :sad1: Blessings to you and all of your family.

It must be so hard. I remember the first time I read Ryan's website and cried, just imagining the grief. He seemed like such a wonderful little guy to have had in your lives, even though it was for such a short time.

My thoughts are with you guys today.

How strange is that. Today was the first time I clinked on your link as well. Ive seen the link many many times before, but for some reason never checked it out. A hour or so ago I saw a post you did and decided to check out the link. I was so glad I did. And then to see this thread your started, it made perfect sense why I felt the need to check the link today.

My heart and thoughts go out to your family.

Oh Steph....HUGS sweetie!! :grouphug: :grouphug: It is so odd b/c I was thinking about you and your boys today. I know your boys are watching out for your family.

How odd it is that so many of us were thinking of you and your boys today....I think that says something....

Bless you and your family. My thoughts and prayers for you and your family are with you.

The pictures of Ryan and the rest of your family are beautiful - so full of love. :grouphug:

Awww, I just responded to your other post about Austin. I had no idea this was the one-year anniversary of your other son's passing.

My heart goes out to you.

You're right; each day is precious with our children, and we should never forget that.

Please take care of yourself.

I think of your boys everyday when I remember my baby. :grouphug: Your strength is inspiring.

I went to Ryan's site before from your link, and I sat there in tears. I think of you often, even though I don't know you, and I think you have such amazing strength.

Steph

just letting you know I'm thinking about you. Prayers.

I, too, had checked out your link a little while ago. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
