The Force is strong with this one

One year ago, exactly one year ago, to the day, but not the hour (it'll be about 12 - 14 hours after I posted this) , I made this account and joined the DIS. Now, you must understand, I had been using my mother's account to post on here for about a month beforehand. But I didn't officially join until a year ago.
I must say, overall, this year has been downright crazy, both here online, and in real life.
I'll start with online, I guess, because to you guys, that matters more. I've talked to so many people on here, and tightened relationships with a lot of you. And I have to tell you, you've helped me through a lot. Besides meeting this bunch, there was a huge ordeal in January, that I won't get into, because I'm not sure if people would like to be reminded of that. I honestly had no idea what was going on at the time, as most of the vets around here were mentioning threads made before I even joined. Then a lot of Official Threads were made, and that seemed to get everyone happy again. The HOF was the main highlight of my year. After that, some of my friendships around here changed. I ended up breaking some rules set by my parents to help a friend in desperate need, but that, as well as some of our more serious threads, changed my views on a lot of things that none of you would really care about. But nonetheless, you've all changed me in one way or another.
Offline, my life was crazy. Specifically December. Some of you might remember that, and for the people who haven't been around here too long, it wasn't the greatest time of my life. But, coming to this place every day proved to me that nothing really mattered when you're around people who truly care about you. (At least, I hope that you truly care about eachother.)
I really don't know what else to say. This year was tough, but you helped me make it through. I think I've obviously changed since I first jonied. But, my point is, here's to one year, and hopefully many more. (Well, I'm not going to suddenly stop posting here - I've tried, and it doesn't work. XD )
