Its been a while, have a few questions

We went last summer but i havent been on DIS much since we have been back because I wasnt expecting a trip, but am now thinking we may go the end of July, so I have a few questions, I would really like to do WoC dessert party my kids are getting older so we may skip a character meal and do this, are the desserts good? and I seen sparkling beverages can you get beer? or any alcoholic beverages DH likes to drink, also I have been kind of looking at Springhill Suites, how many mins is that walk? We had a horrible time w ART last time when we stayed at stanford inn so we may go back to Park Vue but looking at other options too, im sure i will have more questions to come lol

I can only answer your Dessert Party questions. Hubby and I really enjoyed all the desserts. It was a surprisingly filling dessert plate. The offered adult beverages were a sparkling wine ("champagne" from another region) and a blue curaçao and vodka drink - you could have a total of two adult drinks based on what we were offered. There was also the usual pops, hot chocolate, coffee.

i was actually just going to post a thread asking about peoples experiences of using the ART. if you dont mind me asking, what was the issue with ART that you experienced?

not trying to hi jack Luulu1999 post,, but we have used the ART every trip. and never had an issue that I could complain about.. do I feel like sometimes it takes forever ? yup but in reality its the 20 minutes they say it will be, have customers been rude? yes, but thats not ARTS fault.. value for money? for us yes.. for others not so much.. we will use them again this trip.. you betcha. everyone has different experiences with the ART.. and not all are good..
we find that in the AM if we know what time the parks open and know what time the ART starts running and get to the bus stop 10 minutes before we are usually first or close to first in line for getting on.. and when leaving the park.. we usually dont get to see the park closing and so again knowing what time the buses arrive and get there 10 minutes before has us first in line for going "home"

there was suppose to be 2 buses that ran our stop but I dont ever think there really was we werr at Stanford inn and it took really long times to get a ride then in the evening coming back usually close to closing it was stop 1&2 you would have a ton of ppl line up at one stop and the bus would go to the other and there wasnt 2 buses so you never knew which stop to wait at, I will say our first trip we stayed at clarion and used ART and never had a prob it was there the exact time it was suppose to be everytime that was several years ago this time it just took a lot longer than it was suppose to
