It's becoming official....

I booked my flights for DIS CON today. I couldn't resist. I hate leaving things open. I will be flying in on Sunday December 1 - getting in around 8 pm. I leave on December 9th in the morning. Gives me a couple of days to just play before getting serious about DIS CON events!

I will be staying at the Swan or Dolphin ... just have not made my plans (YET!). Thought I would use Dreams Unlimited to track the best deal down for me.

This will be my third trip to WDW in 2002 - and my first solo one. I am soooo excited to get to go this year.


I sure hope they don't go changing the dates now?!

I have been shopping for our cruise at the end of March, and booked a WDW "girls only" trip in June with my DD... and now... December DIS CON trip! Ahh well.... got to have these things to look forward to.

LOL!!!!!! Our AmEx is still in shock from our trip to WDW last November!! One more payment and we'll be making our air ressies, too! (Then we can spend the summer paying it off before running it back up again!!) Already got our DVC ressies for VWL, we're also planning on coming in on the 1st to have time to play around before the Con. But we'll hafto leave on the 8th--hopefully not till most everything is over........

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO looking forward to meeting all you neat people in person!!!

You have all been so wonderful to know through your posts and PMs - that the thought of meeting each of you in person makes me very excited. I have a feeling that I am going to find the wait UNBEARABLE.

Dixie, you're right-the wait will become almost unbearable! The closer it gets, the more excited and antsey we all get. This board will move faster than the CB as we get closer to DIS-CON!!!!!!

Barb I was definitely there last March... and there were several meets planned. I ended up doing the one at the MK only - unfortunately... it was the last hurrah of the Electrical Parade... and they ran it early and twice - right in the middle of the time the meet was scheduled for. As it turned out, only Tink2dw and her family showed up besides myself and my family. We did have a nice visit - but it was a pretty low key event! We definitely will make up for it this time though!

I love Tower of Terror by the way... and I am a theme park commando (just ask me to demo it when we are there! ) In fact, I may need to enhance my "uniform" in honor of the convention!
