According to their rules, first notification of week one is on or about today! Gonna doubt anyone is in the office today, but who knows! The fact that I'm waiting for an email just tells me it's not gonna happen haha. This stuff only happens when you least expect it.

I've been lurking this thread just like you all, entering contests each day and dreaming. Now don't get excited, I'm not a winner coming out of hiding . Our last and only trip to DW was exactly a year ago tomorrow. Oh how we ache to go back.

Anyway, one thing that makes me feel a lot less hopeful with that Smuckers contest is that damn photo gallery. I have never seen our pic on it...it only makes you realize how many damn people enter these contests haha. My husbands laughs that I enter every disney sweepstakes under the sun but never the lottery. For some reason I have less hope for winning that than a disney trip. Go figure.

I wish they were awarding more than 1 trip for that contest. Our photos have been used twice, but I know the odds are still very small--hundreds of photos listed and possibly hundreds of thousands (or more) entries overall. I don't know why they pick the photos that they use. One photo doesn't even show any faces-so it's not that my family is just so cute!

I entered the National Geographic one with photos..guess I should go on to the Smucker's one as well, since it would be easy to send the photos I used in the other contest!

That's what I did...used the same pics for both but remember the smuckers only allows one entry per day where as the National Geo one is multiple entries.

I'm up for turning this into a WW thread! My husband and I have entered all of the words for that one so I'm crossing my fingers. I will happily take any of them without hesitation but if I could choose, my order of preference would be 1, 4, 2, 3. 1&4 are pretty tied for me but we have a 7 year old little girl who would love to do BBB again. With #4's extra $500 shopping spree, I'm sure I could put that to good use. But really, I'll be over the moon to win ANY of them! If I'm being really honest, they could just pay for our airfare to FL and I'd be satisfied. lol

I wonder if she will announce the winner on her show? I'm also curious about the VIP tour guide in each package. Is that someone who could take us to the front of the line at any ride or special seats for parades? Because that would be awesome. I'd use that in MK.

Okay question: for the photo submission contests (I know of two at the moment) I was looking through the gallery and noticing a few were obviously Photopass photos. I have some great photos taken by Disney Park staff, but it is my understanding only photos of your creation qualify. What is the consensus on this?

We have used both photo pass and personal pictures for the uncrustables contest, we even used a Photo Booth pic from Space Mountain's gift shop. I didn't read anything that said you couldn't use them, but I could be wrong.

I was hoping she'd announce the winner on her show, but she didn't Going to go read the official rules in a bit and see if it states how the winners are being contacted. Probably just email but it would be cool to hear the winners on her show!
