The ding does notify you of schedule date extension - at least it has in the past!

well, I don't know what time they will open up but I was looking at the date I want to leave on and the lowest fare was $165 ! I have never seen them not offer a $99 fare each way to start. I know I heard how their fares would be going up but to $165 each way, that's disgusting!

Instead of refreshing the Southwest Reservation page a thousand times, try this catchy free program. http://www.urlywarning.net .

You install it, then cut and paste the website link to the Southwest Reservation page, then have it monitor the page every minute, when anything on the page changes, (like the dates). This program will sound an alarm until you reset it! Sometimes, they modify thing not related to the dates, but for monitoring today its a sure thing!
