No it's not the money part (altough it is a small part) The disappointment is the biggest part. and perhaps I will continue to scream about it, but we had the freaking Alsacian lunch 150 pp and desert buffet thing at like 80 pp I think and then the grand mariner thing. thing f*cking sucks because I REALLY wanted to actually taste these things, now I've just bought them and won't be able to f***ing enjoy them! I'm so effing pissed!

On the Dis, I can hear you screaming over here. I'm crying and screaming for you too.

I really REALLY wanted YOU to taste those things too...especially since you had sucked it up when the DCA event was cancelled.

My DH constantly tells me not to have any expectations....but I find that I cannot be that selfless. No expectations means there is no risk of disappointment....but conversely no expectations also means there is no human hope for delight. You have every right to be effing pissed about it.

And we are here to listen. I know that you cannot show emotion to Fran; for your sake and sanity, just don't hold it in too long before jumping on here.

No. I'm just about to head out to take Arline up to the Magic Mountain area. Fran wants to try getting out of bed when I get back. She is evidently not decided on not going and says she never said not to go.

Well I left Arline with the folks who will be taking her home. I stopped to get some boiled meat dumplings and scallion pancake. I still have about 50 miles until I get home, but I rarely get to this end of town, so I'm indulging myself. I called Fran and she sounded OK. I hope they don't take very long.

I was out most of the day and once I got home I turned on the TV in the living room and got semi sucked into a football game.

Tired. Didn't get much sleep last night. Its going to be high 70's here today, sunny and little humid. It was low 50's yesterday and rain. Gotta love Melbourne weather. If you don't like the weather, wait a while.

How is Fran, any change? Is she good about taking her medicine?

The only thing is that when she takes the morphine she starts to get very fuzzy, so we have a notepad to write down what she takes and when. The Antibiotic is every 12 hours, the morphine is as needed, and the anti nausea is every eight hours.

I'm going to make me some Linguini & clams for dinner. But that's a different thread.
