I used a cup of rice with dinner. I made some spicy orange chicken and brocolli.

I get through 5 kg of rice (about 10 - 12 lbs) in about 6 months.

What is a kg? ;)

In summer I have more vegetables so more stir fry, so more rice. I think my bag will make it to the new year no problem.

The question is where for dinner? And which country?

I was going to say you're on the wrong thread, but you didn't ask what just where. We are on our way to Acapulco (the restaurant, not city). Finally.

When I make rice I do half a cup for the two of us. That accompanies our dinners and leaves a little to go with leftovers.

am REALLY starving now!!!!!!!

A kilogram = 2.2 pounds.

I read the restaurant on the other thread and assumed the city.....thinking what jetsets you were....:rotfl2:

We normally do 1 - 1.5 cups of rice between the 3 of us, allowing for leftovers.

Don't worry I know conversion ratios from metric to english.

I make about a 1.5 cups and usually have 1/2 to 2/3 left over. But I like eating leftover rice for breakfast, instead of Snap Crackle Pop Rice Crispies or Special K.

Goodnight all. I can't be last after this, I need another 39 winks and if lucky 40.

Good night skiboy. Catch you sometime. I'm back at work tomorrow; so I probably will only be on for night shift. Take care!

We're home. Dinner was good. They put our favorite Queso that was a special last Spring on the regular menu. We split a four item combo with the queso and still had tons of leftovers! This getting old thing, we can't eat like we used to.

Our internet is down at the house, so I'm online with the aircard that we pay $60 a month for when the home internet goes down or when we are traveling. Sucky thing is I can't get to my email unless I use the webmail feature and I hate using that.

I actually wrote that post an hour ago and realized I didn't post it, a few minutes ago.

I'll probably be heading off to bed soon too, but just trying to catch up. The internet came back up sometime over 10 minutes ago, so I unhooked from the air card and went back to regular DSL. Fran went to bed when we got home since she couldn't "play".

I wanted to catch up on Brandi's TR. She and her husband take a lot of vacations to exotic places, it's really cool.

Now that the concert is over, I can concentrate on going to WDW! Except that I have that massage Tuesday and we are picking Arline up Wednesday for a next Monday Dr. Appt. down here. Then we'll have to take her back later in the week and boom! Before you know it we'll be on our way to WDW!

Sleep well. I'm back to work tomorrow; so I probably won't be on till much later, when everyone else is sleeping. Be Thursday here before I have some free time during the day.

Your countdown will go by so quickly, you won't know what happened!

I'm feeling very behind. Like I need to do my PTR and plan out if we're even going to make it through all the F&W kiosks with our ADRs and stuff! I'm stuck on Saturday lunch. so much stuff to choose and yet we can't fill up too much because we have the Grand Mariner Tasting where they feed you crepes suzette and madelines and something else for dessert!

But after that will we want to pass out, or will it be like tequila and I'll be ready to party and Fran will want to lay down and die? We won't go back into Epcot because by then on a Saturday it will be Mayhem, but so many unknowns! Plus I'm still waiting on the Cat Cora cancellation call. They have worked their way up to people on the 28th, but we're on the 29th.

I have Raglan Road booked, but we might do the lower priced chef's dinner. It would be much easier to get to (scooter ride vs Bus ride on Sat nite). So many decisions! :rotfl:

Currently on the choo choo home.
I envy what you're deciding between Alison....sigh......

Hope everyone is well. Most seem stuffed with food....except usnuz...

Think we are having pork chops for dinner. Depends what time mum got home as to the veg. Maybe sweet potato mash.........I can dream.....

Don't feel behind. The PTR is just a bit of fun and you don't have to lock yourself in. Just say you'll be going to try out as many of the F&W stalls as possible....afterall, all sorts of things could happen whilst you're there. It could rain. You might decide to take it easy. You might meet someone.

Just work out your ADRs and keep Saturday lunch free? There's so much to eat at the stalls...

 Hi queenie. Enjoy the choo choo ride.

I made Apple Cider Donuts today....cooked them in the oven. I'll post the recipe up on the WFD thread if I get round to it tonight....otherwise I'll wait a couple of days. But here's what I started with...

Its a Fall Scav hunt item. Figured I wasn't going to be able to ever seem them over in Oz....much easier to make them. :lmao:

Haha. The mega costco maple syrup :lmao:

Never heard of doughnuts made in the oven...would be nice.
Never been a big fan of them. Except for WARM krispy kreme glazed. Or the short lived new York cheesecake filled krispy kreme.
