Dinner last night was a piece of steak that DS and I shared with mushroom gravy, mixed vegies and potato dauphinoise.

What sort of cub cakes were they, Dana? Vanilla?

I guess so, we just finished moving all the boxes and crap out of the dining area in #2 so my parents have a place to sit and eat breakfast.

Now we're digging out the Loveseat in the Living room of #1 so we have places for four to watch movies when my parents arrive Thursday.

This has a very familiar ring to it! Weren't you only recently digging stuff up?????

Yellow cake with blue frosting I've been calling them "Cub" cakes because the Cubs were playing

What are the colours for the Cubs? Blue and Yellow???

Their main color is blue, but they also have red and white. Some diehard Cub fans say that they "bleed Cubbie blue"

We have an Aussie rules team here called Collingwood. Their supporters bleed black and white.

Were they yours to begin with?

Fran got them for me as a present and then put them in "a box". I put it in quotes because every so often she gets frustrated by the mess on her desk, says, "I need a box" and proceeds to dump everything into it. Along with the earrings we must have found 30 Disney pins and various other lost treasures.
