Kim - Don't worry I think I will be the last one there - I am not leaving until the 27th!! Its gonna be here before we know it and I am because I can't believe the time is going so FAST!!!!!

Everyone thanks for the - my back is feeling better and my shin splint is better - lets see how it feels today after my 5 miles (I thought I only had 4 for today but no....) I am going to do the 5 miles on the TM that way if the shin starts bothering me I am home and can stop.

Not even close Kim. My flight lands at MCO (hoping no delays) at 6:45PM on the 27th. Plenty of time to get to Pop, check-in, throw my bag in the room, get to the Studios, pick-up my race packet and get ready to ride ToT and RnR (with a short walk before hand). Try to win me a couple of Robert's mini golf prizes.

Here is the response from Disney regarding when Final Instructions for the ToT will be posted

Yes, we will be posting final race instructions for Tower or Terror, but it won't be until later next week.

OK as this is my first Disney race and my first longer distance race and I have a few questions I hope someone can answer.

I'm planning on running in shorts and my running shirt, but would like to have something to change into. Can you rent a locker or check your stuff in someplace? I will not have a car so I won't have that kind of access and I don't want to be sweaty and/or cold all night after the race(If it gets cold.)

Are they having any kind of entertainment or just the rides (TOT, RNR and GMR)?

I've seen the map, but my question is any idea on when we can get into the studios? I know the race starts at 9:30, but wasn't sure when we could get in. Does it start in the back of the Studios to where you have to walk through the park to get to the start?

I've got a million more, but will leave them at that for now. Hope to get to meet some fellow Disney nuts while I'm there.

Goofyinohio- Great questions - I too am a first time racer at Disney - kinda anxious/nervous about the details as well. I know they haven't done this race before but hopefully someone with Disney race experience can help us out.

Disney has been slow releasing the final instructions for this race. They said end of next week so we might know for a while.

The race starts in the MGM parking lot(not in the park) so you can get there early. The race and party starts at 9:30 pm. There is supposed to be a live band besides the Great Movie Ride, Aerosmith Rock n Roller Coaster and Tot.

I am not sure they will have a bag check like they do for the 1/2 and marathon. Since the race starts different from the starting line and outside the park, I would think not. Will find out next week.

Well I guess plan B comes into mind then and running with a backpack. That won't be fun.

I guess another kind of stupid question is will the Disney busses still run to our hotel or should we plan on getting a cab?

I really wish we could do some of the meets, but with it being my buddy's first trip I just don't think we'll have time in 4 days.
