I always have lime green ribbons on my stuff like my purse and our stroller. Look for a lady in a hord of guys, lol, my 4 ds and my dh. My 2 oldest are 16 and 13...little ones are 3 and 1. We are doing IOA/US Friday and Saturday, not sure about HHN since we have the 2 little ones. We are leaving HRH late Saturday and going over to OKW for 4 days. We have tickets to MNSSHP on Sunday night for the little ones (and for me ).
We bought season passes to IOA/US and Disney so we are planning a long trip next June--I hate to rush around all the time.
Maybe a little meet at the pool??

We are going 10/4. 10/3 Not So Scary and 10/4 HHN. My DS15 refused to watch HHN on the Trav Ch. last night and left for school this morning saying " Do I really have to go to this Halloween thing?" I know he does this to put a burr under my blanket and I usually get a chance to repay him with total embarassment. Wanna help me with something? Spidey? FlyFly?
The last good one was making him open the park. Con helped me with that. He so didn't want to read the script into the microphone. They normally chose an early arrival family in the morning but I arranged it in advance and wrote a script about a page long including stuff like "Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls..." He was so wound up by the time US opened the next day I thought he was going to hurl.

Hey.... why don't you tell him he can meet a 15 yr old girl from Ft Myers area....they will have something in common, neither will want to be there LOL... I am doing all I can to drag her with us...my 17 yr old son flat out refuses to go....he wouldn't watch the Travel Channal either... my 15 yr old daughter did want to watch it but missed it & my 10 yr old daughter watched it & said NO WAY will she go to HHN's!!! Sat AM DS,DD & I will open US. Shrek,Jimmy, Back to Future, MIB,MIB, MIB and MIB. We have to check out FlyFly@GB.
Sat PM checking in RPR.
Sat 5:30-2 IOA HHN, DD15&I DW&DD10 will Luau.
Sun. open US for a couple of attractions IOA Hulk,Spidy, Dragons, Hulk

Nearly here!!!!.....so.......what's the first thing you will do after checking in....?

Do you plan in advance an itinerary and stick to it, or do you plan and end up not following it hardly at all or do you not plan and just "go with the flow!!!"

We usually have a very loose plan which we begin to follow and then go with the flow. In August when we were there our room was not ready when we checked in. Our plan was to go to US to see the new Shrek attraction then see what we wanted to do from there. We had dinner reservations at Mythos, so I knew we would end up at IOA before the day was done. We ended up seeing Jimmy Neutron after Shrek then to our US favorite, MIB. While on MIB, the hotel called to say our room was ready.

Back to the Hotel to check in. Our pool view was obstructed by a palm tree! I called the front desk and they did not have another room on the floor to move us to until the next day. I did not want the hassle of moving again, so figured I would let it go. When the bellman came up with our luggage, he asked if all was ok. I mentioned to palm tree. He called the front desk and the next thing I knew, he had arranged a $20 a night credit! We had not yet had the chance to spend any money and I was getting $100! I knew it was going to be a great trip! And yes, the bellman did get a nice tip! So be sure to open your mouth if you are not completely satisfied.

On to IOA. We had time to ride HULK (our IOA favorite) and then on to dinner at Mythos. We usually also set aside a block of time to do the water rides until we are sick of them then back to the hotel for dry clothes. We ride our favorites every day and in between, we try to hit all the rides and shows at least 1x during our vacation. We try not to have many specific time committments so we can enjoy ourselves without the pressure of having to be somewhere.

Boy, this simple answer is turning into a trip report! Have a blast single digit folks. Wish I were doing the single digit dance. After all the advice, I still have not mastered the countdown timer. We'll be returning 12/21. I'm not sure how many days that is.
