So, I am somewhat familiar with the FP process. My DH and I have been going for a few years and I usually have no problems booking FPs. This year, we have a big family trip involving 3 separate MDE accounts. I'm trying to make sure everything is in order for our FP selection day. I am making all of the FP's for all 3 accounts.

I'll start with the important info:
-Elle (2 people)(onsite - annual pass holders)(Dates: 5/04/18 - 5/12/18)
-Kris (3 people)(room & ticket package)(Dates: 5/03/18 - 5/12/18)
-Amy (3 people)(offsite - tickets only)(Dates: 5/05/18 - 5/12/18)

From what I've been reading, the FP window for Kris should open up on Sunday 3/04/18. At this time, I should be able to book FP's for the full trip for Kris's group. I believe that I should also be able to book Elle's group and Amy's group at the same time (so long as a member of Kris's group is booked on the same FP as Amy's group). Does that sound right?

More questions:
On my MDE account (mine is Elle), I can see everyone from all 3 accounts on my "friends & family" list.
Everyone under Elle & Kris show up under "we're planning together." Amy's group shows up under "my other family & friends."

1. Two members from Kris's group state "plans managed by me." Kris herself does not say that (just an empty space). Am I able to book FP for both groups from Elle's account?

2. If I am in Kris's account, it shows her two extra members as "plans managed by Elle." If I am trying to book FP's from Kris's account, will it allow me to book for both Kris's group & Elle's group? I ask because Kris's FP window opens one day earlier than Elle's.

3. Amy's group does not show up in the "we're planning together section." Is there something she needs to do for me to book her FP's too?

Gosh, I'm sorry if this is confusing you (it sure is confusing me)...:headache:

I'm bumping this up because stuff sinks quickly on these very active boards.

and I'm curious as well - though my situation is less complex, still contend MDE is not intuitive unless it's one person in charge of everything - and everyone else just stays off of it.

One family - one account - everyone on that - no problem. Two or more families, multiple accounts, not so much. Even if only one person is doing the planning.

I did run trial FPs from my account today. I was able to plan Elle's group and Amy's group (since I'm and AP holder and Amy's group bought tickets separately). It didn't matter that Amy's group shows up in "other friends and family."

I'm hoping that come Sunday, I will be able to book everything (that's when Kris's FPs open).

You're telling me. Im doing all the planning (dining and FP) but it's still frustrating trying to figure out what I can and can't do across different accounts.

The package tickets won’t show up until booking day. Just FYI, we booked our first package this trip. I went on MDE and logged in all ready to book FP and the tickets wouldn’t show up when the window opened. A quick call and they told me I had to log out and log back in. So, if it doesn’t work, log out and log back in.

Thank you. That's helpful advice. :)

Ooh, here's a question:
When the FP window opens for Kris on Sunday, am I able to book those through my account (Elle)? We are set up as "planning together."

How can you book for offsite Amy at the 60 day mark? Offsite should not be open until 30 days out.

Ellie fast passes should not open until the next day which would be your 60 days. You can make fast passes for 30 days out from today as a AP.

I've done a lot of research and hopefully I'm retaining info properly but don't hold me to it.

From what I've read, if everyone is connected on MDE, a guest staying at the resort is allowed to book FPs for a non resort guest during their 60 day window. This only works if a resort guest and non resort guest are being FP on the same ride together.
