I faces north west - so we will get the sun in the late afternoon and evening, so it won't be like a sauna in the summer

Here's a photo of the outside of the conservatory

Just need to wait for the inside plaster work and concrete floor to fully dry out and we can start to lay the laminate flooring and paint the walls

We've ordered some nice cane furniture too - blooming expensive stuff isn't it!

Over Xmas we will be touring the blind shops (shops that sell blinds not the charity shop) to get some nice blinds

The garden, which now looks like a ploughed field, will have to wait to the spring.

This looks really lovely Tim - we've just taken delivery of our Cane furniture for our one...........you are so right about it being expensive!

Do you mean blinds for the ceiling or windows? We might look into some blinds next summer, only our conservatory has a glass ceiling (it was custome built onto the house 10 years ago at the time the house was built) and the roof is extremely high and sloping - but all glass. My BIL has just had some made for his conservatory and the window ones cost just over £600 but the ceiling ones cost just under £2000!!!!!

Pricey, very pricey!

We are only having blinds for the windows, not the roof - as you say Janice the roof blinds are VERY expensive. Hopefully, with the conservatory facing north-west we can get away without the roof blinds.
