Well DD went for her MRI scan in April which failed miserably.

Well today she was given a General An, started off, with cream on her hand by the time we got to the scanner the cream had not been on long enough and he could not find a vein so they gave her the gas so she was asleep when putting the thing in her foot for the GA. can not spell the word sorry.

Did give a struggle shouting get me out of here. we were sent back to the ward before, they sorted her out, just wish i was there never mind.

On the way back to the scanner to collect her the nurse grabbed a bag full of kit, i asked what that was for, she laughed i know it looks bad. Basically it was in case she was sick etc.

Brings her back to her bed, she was crying wanting the thing out of her foot it was hurting her. She came round quick but would not eat or drink anthing.

Did find out that she had a problem with the cream and the plasters that went over her eyes, i called her zoro tonight, looks like she is wearing a mask lol.

The cream made her hands reds red and went a little puffy, the plasters have made the side of her face red.

She has a few foods that make her face red but GP not to concerned, do you think after this we should push for a test to see what she is allerigc too.

DH has had many MRI scans which, in my opinion - as a grown up  - must be horrendous :sad2:

I hope everyting, today, went well :thumbsup2

Don't be afraid to laugh - at anything - we all need it
Sometimes, even if it is 'black humour' it's what we need

We laugh all the time, as being a red head, very bad temper, and today yes i got some of that, when trying to comfort her telling her to relax and sleep, her favourite saying is my eyes are magic, but when saying it she says my eyes are magij. She pointed her finger right in my face and said i'm not tired, the other mothers just look on said arrrr bless. and laughed. So nice to have a child that other parents say arrrrrrh, rather than that child, lol.

I have had a scan before and i hated it.

She knew when i carried her down the corridor, she said i'm not going to the noisey machine. I just kept cuddling her, she knew, bless her.

Maybe this is where KP and RS come in, to help things along.............. :grouphug:

DS is a red head (well, at 18 he calls himself a 'strawberry blonde...') but I think this is where Eve draws her attraction, to red heads, from :thumbsup2

Well i am glad you got it done this time hopefully you will not have to wait to long for the results :wizard:

If you are any way concerned at all i would ask them to test her to see that allerigc she has
sending you some :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

I don't think i would like to have one of those test done. Bless her. sending her some :tink:

It may be best to know what she's allergic to, you could be away from home when she had a reaction to something you were not aware of, that would be just awful. Lots of :grouphug: to you all.

bless her!

It took us a long time between an A&E visit for an allergic reaction to get DD tested (over a year) I know they don't like to test little ones but I kept mentioning it at every opportunity and finally we had her tested when she was 3. I don't think her peanut allergy will ever be severe (but you can't predict if reactions will be better or worse than previous ones) but we carry an epipen now and she wears an SOS necklace just in case.

Funnily enough she wasn't allergic to dairy products which seem to make her face red :confused3

:grouphug: for your brave little girl

best of luck for the results, I truly hope everythings alright :grouphug:

:grouphug: good luck for the results. I would push for the allergy tests.
