It's all our KIDS Fault

...I told my husband that I think I found my literary comfort zone...young adult fiction...

Second this - Both DH and I read all the Harry Potters when my nieces got into them, and I'm on the 3rd Inkhart now.

I've also been known to leave on iCarly after DS has left the room.

mine is icarly, drake & josh, wubzy ( i have the beanie baby on my register at work :) yo gabba gabba. can't get enough of the songs on this show. and just discoved Phineas and Ferb the other night.

I watched Horton Hears a Who last night by myself, because my 7 year old wouldn't watch it with me. :lmao:

I've apparently found my kindred spirits... Right now, DH and I are watching Jimmy Neutron while DD is napping. We also enjoy Fairly Oddparents and Spongebob. And iCarly. DD3 makes fun of me for liking iCarly.

Disney channel used to have better shows than they do now, IMO. DH was obsessed with Kim Possible, and many of the cartoons were more engaging, I think, too. All the tweeny live action stuff isn't as much fun as Lizzy McGuire, Even Stevens and the more regular original movies.

I'm pathetic to even know about all these shows! I can't even blame DD...

Yes, I am a fellow tween (at heart!). I reminded my DH yesterday that HSM3 was coming out and not to forget to rent it. Well imagine mydisappointment when I got home late from work and my DD 6 and DD 2.5 had already started watching it with out ME!

I listen to radio disney with or without the kids in the car. I watch all the shows mentioned in previous posts, all of these shows have awesome and funny writers!

For me and DH my son got us totally hooked on the Imagination Movers! We have their CD Juice Box Heroes, and we also like singing along in the car! I even have the "Jump Up" song on my mp3 player and listen to it while I am at the gym! Their songs have great beats and thankfully for my kids great messages!!!

This morning we were laughing at ourselves because Mickey Mouse Clubhouse was on TV...and we found ourselves sad that Sage wasn't here to sing the Hot Dog song with us....

There's been times we laid him down for his nap, and continued to watch Handy Manny alone...lol

Have to admit, Hannah Montana and ICarly are kinda cute too

Ugh, I totally forgot about Handy Manny. I think he's sooo adorable. My husband bought our youngest a Handy Manny book and said "Madi look what daddy got for ya, now run along and hide it so mommy won't find it".:rotfl2:

Ok...I must admit that we're a part of this, tooo!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

I love HSM,HSM2,and HSM3!!!
Actually, I've never gotten the chance to watch HSM all the way through, but so far HSM2 is my favorite!!! I even bought the soundtrack!!!

My son is into Power Rangers and on Saturday Mornings on ABC(for those of us who don't have cable) they play Disney shows. Constant repeats I must say though. My husband has gotten into Pwoer Rangers and actually got mad when the newest one ended,at least I think it did!!! LMAO!!!!

But, we're a true Disney family!!! I just wish the my Celebrations mag would come before our trip!!!

Yup sadly I find myself listening to all 3 HSM soundtracks on my ipod in the car.

As for TV, DH loves Phineaus and Ferb.

I quite like Hannah and Wizards. Younger programs I like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and a little program we get here called 3rd and Bird which is really cute!

I told my husband that I think I found my literary comfort zone...young adult fiction. He wasn't really surprised. :confused3

This is me too.:goodvibes Although I disguise mine by reading with DS each night. (We alternate pages.) He gets his reading done for school and I get my fix. LOL

I also like Phineas and Ferb and have been known to watch Wizards, Suite Life and Hannah after the kids are in bed. Shhh! Don't tell.:rotfl2:

Right there with you guys. I have Disney Channel on when I'm at home too even if my boys aren't watching. LOL! They stop watching after Playhouse Disney is over but I do find myself enjoying all the other shows. And even though my husband hates it, I don't mind watching Cars for the millionth time with my boys. But I would never tell him that. LOL.

Are there any tv shows/movies/music you find yourself hooked on because of your kids and still finding yourself enjoying them when you're kids aren't around?

I must admit even though I'm still relatively young and have been a Disney-holic since I can remember the fact of the matter is that I'm 32yrs old and if you were a fly on my family room wall you'd find me watching shows with/without my kids like A Suite Life, Wizards of Waverly Place, Corey in the House; go thru my Ipod playlist and you'll find Miley Cyrus, Demi Lavoto and the Jonas Bros; and when it comes to the soon to be released in theathers Jonas Bro 3-D movie I'm the just as excited as my girls to see it.

Am I alone and if not do you family and friends know you're a secret TWEEN?

T.

This sounds exactly like me! I am also 32 and I love Disney Channel shows and music! At the moment I am really liking Wizards and I can't wait to go buy HSM 3. I am waiting because we leave for Disney next week and I want to suprise DD with it on the plane. Before I had my DD, who is now 4, I watched Lizzie McGuire all the time!
