I was there and you did not say where the car was!

Well, even if Wigd. doesn't want to throw it all out there and share her side of all this.............she sort of started sharing........and it didn't seem to sit too well with either Mr. I Won't Rent A Car or Shocker!!!! It appears that when Mr. I Won't and Shocker are frustrated, upset, confused, lost....or anything else you can imagine........they don't HEAR very well. Note to Wigd. YELL louder next time either of them, pull a good one!!!!!!!!!!

Ah, I just love seeing the Animal Kingdom tree and all the little trees at Camp Minnie Mickey! Someday I will see them in person!

I told him where the stinkin car was and he wouldn't listen to me!

That is one reason I DON'T RENT A CAR. When I read you were going to the parking lot and drama ensued, I thought "you lost the rental".

My problem is I never pay enough attention to the rental to remember what it looks like on the outside. I have had the feeling of "Uh Oh I don't even know what I am looking for", too many times.


I am glad you found the car, eventually.

You guys have been on the DIS long enough to know that you always take a picture of the sign in the area you are parked in I guess maybe since you don't usually have a car maybe you haven't paid particular attention to that little tidbit of information Oh well, you'll know for the next time you rent a car (and we all know there will be a next time).

But Shocker, why didn't you listen to Wigd?!

HOLY Toledo Batman!!!!!!!!! Now that is a truly Magical Disney moment!! One of those FUN times that you never ever get to read in somebody's trippie, when they are sharing about all the Pixie Dust flying!! I knew when Wigd. said you were headed to the parking lot and there was DRAMA, that somebody rolleyes1) hadn't remembered where "it" was parked!!! I just wasn't sure who that somebody was??? Oh, I knew who was going to get BLAMED, but I wasn't sure who was at fault!!!



I too would like to hear the other side of this sorrid tale.........I am sure that it would be truly amusing to see how our precious Wigd. remembers that event!!! You up to sharing Wigd.????

We are driving up Sunday the 20th. We fly out to Disney on the 21st from KC...
Then we fly back in on the 26th and drive on home.

I'm busy both those days I may be heading to KC sometime the weekend of April 1-3 or 22-24. Scott's on call both those weekends and sometimes it's nice to get away from the constantly ringing telephone Or maybe we should try to do lunch sometime in Wichita?

Congrats to Baylor though! Very cool. And love everything you picked up in KC! I didn't realize you picked up all three pieces of luggage

We will be back up to KC to see the Princess Diana exhibit. I'll let you know when we firm up a date on that. Perhaps it could be one of those weekends.

I enjoyed our bkfst at Tusker House.

Funny story: Lexi brought her Minnie BAB dressed in Safari clothes to the bkfst.
When she went up for her pic with Donald...he grabbed Minnie, took one look at her and threw her to his CM.
It was so funny! He wanted all the attention!!
Wish I had captured it on camera but it happened so fast.

I'm not surprized that MK was the first to be full to capacity.
Does it get that full on NYE/NYDay?
Just wondering which park would be our best bet to try.
I know where I'm going to be on NYE...Poly beach with all my Dis friends!

I'm planning on suffering terribly since we won't have one over Spring Break.

Last summer every time we went in through the entrance at WS Donald was there. Baylor had the best time with him.
Until the day Baylor had on a Mickey T.
Then Donald put Baylor in a head lock..
It was awesome!
Finally Donald covered Baylor's shirt to take the picture.

Taking the day off here to get things done. Some for the wedding some for me.
Watching the news just sick to my stomach as I watch the devastation of this earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
Then worried as I think of those in the path of the tsunami that is moving toward others in the Pacific. I can't imagine what they must be going through while preparing for such a terrifying event.

Yes 1st Cardinal rule of renting a car at Disney...text yourself the Lot and aisle # where you parked and take a picture!! I write it down too just to make sure LOL!!!!!!!

Hopefully you'll give having a car at Disney a 2nd try..LOL!!!!

I could just see that happening to DH & I. No rentals for us. We can get lost in our backyard & we joke about it all the time. It would not seem right if we went on a trip & did not get lost at least once.

I would say Donald is ONE LUCKY DUCK......I am pretty sure if Baylor hadn't wanted to be in a head lock, Donald would have likely ended up needing his handler to rescue him or at the very least, help him up from the ground!!

I too am praying for all those in the news this a.m. It sure seems like more and more stuff is happening and so much more frequently.

Hope you get lots accomplished today.....I know you are scrambling trying to get it all done, but as they say.....stop and smell the roses along the way....and open the soap while you're at it!!!!

In '09 MK was closed NYE to everyone but resort and annual pass guests.
That week several times I looked and MK was was at that stage of capacity many times.
AK NYE day - Empty.
