Woo Hoo!! Shopping at Disney-my favorite kind of shopping.:yay:

By the way I checked out the new VB patterns online today. I also like the one you like-I forgot the name but saw you post the name on your other report. I just got the pink cupcake mini hipster last year & another purse so I cannot justify buying another one yet.

I WILL be enjoying all your shopping pics & making my list for May.:cool1:

I like the new blue lagoon pattern! I also have the pink mini hipster and I got a backpack black print (I can't remeber the name) for Christmas. Anita....you are an enabler!!!! :lmao::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: I had never even looked at VB's til I started reading your threads and now I have 2!!!!Let's not forget about the Dooney's either!!!! :)

I'm here and ready for the action!!! Hey I need advise - we are staying at the Boardwalk or maybe BC if the waitlist comes thru, anyway are there any counter service for breakfast at either one? We do the DDP so I usually do the CS for breakfast.... Thanks! And let the shopping begin!:cool1:

Love the title and I certainly depend on you to show us the best of the best in the Disney merchandise world.... and do some shopping for me along the way!

I am excited for your upcoming trip because I am sure the 40th anniversary goodies will be out and ample so I can compile my June list!

Sorry Marc.... we really pressured her for a shopping report!
Laura you are officially in the #1 spot, someone had insider information....
I'll make every effort to get some pictures for you in March but with Harper and Baylor along I make NO promises!:confused3

I agonized over that shirt, saw it on our Spring Break trip last year then bought it in June. That picture was taken when we were back in July....
Anyway, thanks, and I'm so happy that you are reading along!
I'm here! Missed page 1 :( But very excited to hear about your Christmas trip! I really missed being there for Christmas in 2010, but 2011 here we come! :)
Oh boy, another one of the Poly beach party group? I sure hope so!
Glad you are here!
Hi Guys!!!! I'm here too!!! Only 45 days until we leave and eventually meet up with y'all at WDW. Getting anxious.... ok.... can't wait to hear about your trip..... :)
Pammy! Hi!!!
You will be leaving before we know it!
PAge 2 is not bad. We were happy to meet you guys!!
Hi Mary! You are leaving pretty soon too! Are you going back next Christmas too?
I am always ready to shop, especially at Disney. I need to make my advance shopping list before my trip. This year I know I am going to pick up a Disney gnome for my yard to go with the Mickey rain gage I bought last summer.

Non-Disney shopping I just bought a Vera Bradley cover for my e reader in the new blue pattern.
I have my eye on a new Vera print as well....
The garden statue will need to be Mickey to go along with the Minnie that came home last year.
Anyway that will have to wait until June when we MAY be driving down....
Shopping could get really crazy if I don't have to worry about getting it home.
yea shopping! Love your wild things shirt!
Wild Things, 2nd graders, it's my world....
Well that and Disney!
Thanks for reading!
Here and can't wait to read more!!
I need to get to writing so that you all will have something to read!

Hi Doreen!
I like that folk pattern. I forgot what it's called too!
Shopping list, I like the sound of that!

Continuing with the topic of shopping....did you shop for some new shoes for Shocker rather than the gloved ones he is wearing in the picture? :rolleyes1;)

Just kidding :goodvibes

Tracy

Shoes for Marc....
he loves those things
Vibram, 5 fingers....

I'm here, I'm subbing and I'm ready to vicariously shop!!!

And you HAD to rub it in that you are going back again so soon, right?????? ;)
See I told you!

hey im here to follow your report.
Hi Stacy! Is this the first time you have read along? :welcome:
I'm here and ready for the action!!! Hey I need advise - we are staying at the Boardwalk or maybe BC if the waitlist comes thru, anyway are there any counter service for breakfast at either one? We do the DDP so I usually do the CS for breakfast.... Thanks! And let the shopping begin!:cool1:
Hey Gina! I'm glad I put up the bat signal on FB!
As far as CS at Beach Club you won't find anything like a food court. They have the market place and you can get some breakfast. I like the parfaits, they are made fresh. They also have all kinds of pastries and some hot entrees like a breakfast sandwich. The Boardwalk has the Boardwalk Bakery, again not like a food court but some great selections, you can go online and check out the menus for both places. Are you staying in a studio or 1 or 2br?
Saw your link on Facebook and clicked right over!
Hi Rebecca! :welcome: Thanks for joining us!
Do you mind another new reader? I'm in. :goodvibes
Don't be silly! There is alway room for more friends here! Feel free to jump right in!:welcome: Kelli!

It takes us about 24 hours to drive with minimal stopping. It's not all that much fun. It's actually better driving overnight, I can sleep so the time goes by quicker. I slept through Indiana last time we drove! It's funny that the kids will fall asleep in Illinois and wake up in Kentucky or Tennessee!!

I needed you there this past weekend to go shopping with. It was no fun to shop alone! I didn't even see anything exciting. I did see one short sleeve navy blue t-shirt with Mickey on the bottom corner that I was going to get at Everything Pop....but for some reason I never got it!!! :scared1: I guess I thought I would find something I liked better. Oh well, there's always next time!!! I'm not sure that we are going to go for Spring Break. The boys want to take a break!!!!!:scared1: I'm not totally giving up on the idea though. I have until March to decide. we are going on the Dream in Aug and might go to Universal and maybe a day or so of Disney or the waterparks. So I might be Ok not going for Spring Break. John also said we might be able to go for NYE!!!!!!!! He actually said he thought he liked going better after Christmas than before Christmas. We liked the before Xmas crowds better though!

We were thinking of leaving Friday as soon as school is out and driving 6-8 hours then sleeping, waking up the next day and driving again until we get close and sleeping again. Even if we get a room for 2 nights and pay for gas it is still quite a savings over flights and a rental car...
So either way, fly or drive it's fine with me

I know you told me that your guys were wanting some time off...
What about trying for a trip to Vero?
If you don't get any Disney Spring Break, you will be ready in August!
You know I'm all in favor of you going Christmas through NYE! It WILL be loads of fun!!!

I've been looking through pictures that are in photobucket and realize that I need to get all of the pictures off of my phone and loaded into photobucket. Yes they were all on FB but since I'm writing this for many of you that were not following along (Michelle) and some others. Please don't be too bored with the repeats...

I was all ready to update but now I'm waiting on Marc to help me out...

Driving might not be too bad and just think of the money you will be saving! More money to shop with! How many hours is it?

I'll have to think about Vero and see if anything is available. At least it's a Disney cruise!!! We did have fun this past weekend. the weather was great except for Mon when we were leaving.
I;m pretty sure we will go for NYE!! We should plan a Dis dinner at Ohana's on NYE! That would be fun! Shula's would be fun too! YUM!!!

We figured it's about 24 hours of driving time, and we would probably save about the price of one airfare and the car rental.

I think an O'hana dinner on NYE sounds like a fabulous idea!
