There have been some really interesting posts about the DB Cruise bag (the new one for the Dream) on the cruise boards... sounds like a black friday frenzy! People standing in line on board for HOURS...

Oh goodness, I hope the purse buying frenzy has died down by the June cruise, but I'll bet it's just as crazy. These bags will just be a one year thing...

I have really missed y'all too. Funny how life gets in the way sometimes!!

As far as Tracy..........let's see.........Huge Diamonds, other Prince's jewels, and bags.......lots and lots of BAGS.........ummmmmm, when it comes to TRACY, I'm "thinking" she might NOT be told about this thread, or only told what she NEEDS to know!! Or maybe more correctly stated, as what "I" deem she needs to know!!

Now please don't take that as me complaining, because I remember what I said I would do earlier, that I would make it through all the shopping discussion and survive all this bag talk and keep up this time, but I
AIN'T telling Tracy a word about any of this unless something just happens to pop up that she would REALLY, REALLY, REALLY need to know. Just know that I am sitting here patiently waiting for an update!

Maybe I'll just have to send out an invite to Tracy on FB, since we are friends.

Anita, the new wedding set is GORGEOUS! I'm hoping to get surprised with a new set soon - since I'm and IDIOT and first lost the diamond out of my engagement ring, and then 6 months later lost my wedding band! I swear Scott thinks I did it on purpose to get a new one!

Oh gosh, how on earth does one lose their wedding band? Did it fall off?

I really thought no problem until he started working. Then I thought, can I sit still for this?
Well, I managed. It was kind of hard to do it, but I really wanted my Mickey head for the cruise and I wanted it to be good and healed by then.

I tell you... I am "dying" for a tattoo myself but I am such a wimp I am afraid I would pull my foot away from them, screaming like a nut.

If only it were as easy as getting the henna tattoo in "Morocco" while sipping a slushie.... but of course if it was I might be covered in tattoos!

I'd love to see the link for Disney tattoo designs too... for pure research purposes, of course.

It's not at easy as a henna, but I'm sure you can do it. I did it so anyone can.

A rental car is NOT the way to go! It is a waste of money!

On another note, I talked to my TA today and she said she put in our tablemate request with Disney. To be on the safe side she said to be sure and have your TA do the same and we should be good to go!

Moving right along.....

After our chilly evening we woke up to clear skies and hurried out to the balcony to take a picture of our view.

Let me take you on a tour of the 1br villa at the Beach Club!

Down we go and past the Christmas Tree in the main lobby of the villas.

Then over to the main lobby of the Beach Club to see the Carousel.

After our browsing, it was time to head to lunch. We were meeting a friend of ours who happened to be on the tennis court at the Grand Floridian...
We needed to stall for just a bit. We would go on over and check in.

So off we went.

Gosh it was a beautiful day, and this is where we were heading.

Lunch and a surprise DIS meet to be continued...

Fun update! I am so excited to stay at the BC this spring! The 1 BR looks so cool! I love your little Mickey window decorations. I really need a Christmas trip! Fortunately, Denny and I are planning on going right after Thanksgiving this year - so - yeah - Mickey decorations!

Marc and I checked in and the CM told us that it would be no problem at all to wait for Ros to arrive. So we just hung around and took pictures. The day was so pretty.
Actually Marc decided to head over and grab fast passes for Soarin and I hung around...
This is when it happened.
I was standing by the fence and a little boy came walking by very near me. It was like I knew him. Then his mom walked past and looked at me and smiled, again, I thought I knew her...
OK, strange.

So then Marc came back and we headed near the front door of the restaurant. To take more pictures and wait for our friend.

Finally we saw Ros come walking down the pathway! I ran out to meet her! It had been a whole year since we saw her last...
Our Christmas trip last year in fact.
She had just got back from the pod cast cruise.
We have been DIS chat friends with Ros since June '08 and we met her in person at F&W in Oct. '08. Like everyone we have met here she is just a great person and we always enjoy spending time with her!

Let's take a look at lunch.

Lunch was just yummy! Everything was soooo good! To make it even better Ros picked up the tab as our Christmas gift!

After lunch we decided to try to walk off some of that fullness.
That's when it happened.
The three of us were in front of the BIG tree getting a pic taken by the photo pass photographer when I heard my name.

So I looked around...
It was the same person that had smiled at me with the little boy at the fence by Le Cellier!
She told me that she was Jellybean from the DIS!!!!
I DID know her!
I wasn't crazy!!!
So we chatted for just a minute and I had Marc take our picture. (he didn't savce it on my phone and it got immediately lost grrrrrr)
I was a bit bummed about the lost picture because they were on their last day and I knew that we weren't going to have another chance at a pic for the trip report. Darn it.

Anyway we said bye, I was hoping that we might see them at DTD that evening but we didn't.

The three of us made our way on around to Germany.

We were just in time to hear about the Christmas customs.

Coming up next we make a visit to the Boardwalk lobby!

I love all that space in the 1 br, not sure I could go back to a regular room after staying there.

ETA: We're in that same weather system Anita, and it doesn't look like we're going to escape this time. It's just started sleeting and they are predicting 10-18" of snow by noon tomorrow. Our schools have already closed too.

Burrrrrr, it's cold this morning 9 degrees with sustained winds at over 30mph, you can bet I'm staying inside today!

It's hard to tell how much snow we've gotten because the wind is blowing it all over the place. We have some really big drifts by the fence and about a foot or so up by the house in some places, but then there are areas of the yard where I can still see grass.
